Patch - Water display crashes
Today's patch is a bugfix patch : there is currently an issue with water diplay on the client side, which can lead to random crashes in some very specific conditions.
The randomness of the crashes made it difficult for the 3D guys to reproduce the issue, since - even under heavy testing - it only occured a few times a day. The fix which goes live today is correcting a bug in the algorithm which is responsible for the actual display of water on the screen. Due to its randomness, there is no way to be 100% sure that the whole issue is fixed; but it didn't appeared again during our in-house tests, so that's at least a step forward.
We will need your feedback on this. So, if you were thinking about having a bath, now's the right time to do it !
Thanks,
-- Xavier.
