Tonight's contest...
Was it a two part answer? Or only one part?
The question regarding the first guild was seperate from the question that was presented as the "riddle."
So I assumed we only had to answer the second question, which was Force of Fraternity.
But when the contest ended, it made it sound like we had to give both guild names. If that's the case, IMHO, they should've both been presented at the same time.

It was a very confusing question to say the least. From reading the answer and the details they gave my impression was that they were looking for the Company of the Eternal Tree. But who knows....

Heh, suckers... I was like you once, but now I can simply gaze at my moniter and feel secure in knowing the awesome power of a BFG 6800 GT is producing those wonderful pixels. Then, I sigh at your bickering.
Actually, just kidding. I had to take this opportunity to gloat. Thank you for using your valuable time to read this extremely egotistical post.
Oh, and... good luck... or something.

I'm not bickering or complaining. If it was a single part question, then I got it right.
I just want to know if it was just Force of Fraternity, or if they wanted both guilds, Company of the Eternal Tree and Force of Fraternity.

Eternal Tree was the answer.
They didn't even want Company Of added to it, that would have made the answer wrong.
I screwed up on this one last night, I put down most of the other Kami guilds that I knew of in those regions, but not eternal tree.

What do you mean they didn't want "company of" added to it? They announced the answer was The Company of the Eternal Tree. Why would adding company of made it wrong?

Because they announced that it was the Eternal Tree, not Company of The Eternal Tree, there was like several lines talking about the Etneral Tree.

From my chat log:
A Kami Adept says : The tribe in question is the Company of the Eternal Tree
A Kami Adept says : It was reformed in 2483
A Kami Adept says : And seven years later, it was no longer a tribe, but a group, known as the Guild of the Force of Fraternity
A Kami Adept says : which had been created in a spirit of shared Homin knowledge, reuniting all the great warriors of each people
A Kami Adept says : Let me now speak to you again of the Company of the Eternal Tree
A Kami Adept says : This tribe is found all over the planet and attempts to reconcile the Kami with Homins
A Kami Adept says : It defends above all, the interests of the Kami, which it worships
A Kami Adept says : It tries to regenerate Ryzom wherever it goes by replanting areas that have been turned to desert or ravaged by the Goo
A Kami Adept says : Its original members are all Zoraï volunteers who decided to leave their jungle home to help the green planet
A Kami Adept says : It struggles against the Goo and the Karavan and would like to see them both disappear from the face of Atys
A Kami Adept says : On Nexus, its aim is to hunt down the Kuild in the area or at least teach them to have greater respect for nature

They asked for the name of the group that was founded seven years after the international Kami tribe was reformed. So knowing the name of the tribe (Company of the Eternal Tree) and then the year it was reformed (2483) were just prequisites to finding the final answer.
They made a mistake too, by the way, the Force of Fraternity first appeared in 2489, so six years after the Company of the Eternal Tree was reformed.
But if the answer was the Guild of the Force of Fraternity, then just Force of Fraternity would've also been wrong?
(On a side note, I found it interesting that the Kami adept said: "It tries to regenerate Ryzom wherever it goes". I wonder what this Ryzom is?)

I wish they would come out and tell us what they were looking for. There is so much confusion about this question.
Ryzom is the tree.
