Answer was Ragus, and I answered ragus within seconds, I mean 3 seconds of the question, it said YES RAGUS, blah blah blah.

This winner list is incorrect, it took another 18 seconds (yes I had timed it) before the contest was closed.

The second the question came to a close and stated that you can enter your answer, I typed, hit enter, and it told me I couldn't change for 30 seconds, then another 18 seconds went by before it was closed, and it stated I had answered correctly.

This has P*ssed me off to no end.

Maybe it took 2 seconds to answer and the extra 18 to close it?

They close it only when 11 people have answered it correctly.
This is just plain Bull.

I am challenging the winners list, and that it is incorrect, this based on the fact the system said I had answered correctly.

The only logical explination to this delima, is that they allow more than 11 people to answer before they close it, then they pull all the people who answered correctly into a hat, then randomly pull out the names and state who gets what based on who they pull out in what order.

Hmmmmm.......don't see how the contest is a fraud though by your experience. I feel bad that you didn't win anything, but that isn't Nevrax's fault. Chalk it up to lag, u timed out, the other guys or gals that beat u out of the 11 spots were a millisecond factor. It happens. Yah maybe Neverax should allow more peeps, but its their contest, their rules. They could allow 20 peeps and the 21st guy left out is going to be upset and so on and so on. They have to set some sort of limit as they only have a certain amount of stuff to give away. Fifty 6800GTs is pretty darn good. That's like 50 grand prices. Hats or t-shirts would be ok, but I want that video card.

Still feel bad you didn't win though zumwalt. I took a break from the last two contests cause i hadn't been quick enough on the others.

Why do people feel they have to throw their smart @$$ed comments in everywhere they go?

The contest bug have been mentioned on the EE forum and Klient too.
All I can suggest is too email support (and hope that it works and that they care about it at all).

I got ragus too, within ten seconds. I also had that problem on a couple of others. I'm not complaining or anything, I got a video card, but something seems to be buggy. On the other two that I missed, I answered very late. I'm thinking there may be a lag between the 11th entry and the contest closing. Maybe all 11 answered it within a couple seconds and then there was a 15-second delay. Good luck on the appeal!

have u not considered the possibility that those 11 ppl answered more quickly than you? Of course they are gonna take more than 11 correct answers - for example one of the winners might already have won a card, or are uncontactable, etc, etc.
