I was working on my fryos fame. I wanted to get it to one hundred. Then the missions broke so I stopped for a while. Now the other day I was in tryker trying the bounty beeches route to umbra. On the way I stoped in windemeer to check for Armor and Weapons.

"I will not sell to you you have a bad reputation." Was the type of message I got. OOOO Now how did that happen? I checked my tryker fame. It was -39 and I figuered it was because I did so many fryos missions. I had not paid attention to tryker fame.

Well thats not what I was doing Fryos missions for. I was doing Fryos and Kami missions for lower prices. I have not been paying attention to fryos prices but have been using ticket prices as a gauge. They have not changed at all with Kami or Karavan.

Now heres the question. If I keep going does anyone know if they will attack at a certain neg. fame? Or not let me in there villiage?

Tribes (such as Renegades, Goo Heads, or whatever) will attack you if you enter their camp with a fame of somewhere between -80 and -100. Their patrols will not attack you however. I'm gussing this will be the same for city guards, but I don't know.

Personal civilization fame caps at -50, in my experience, and they won't attack or bar entry. No training or purchasing though.

You are granted access to city services at -29 global fame, by the way.

Is it me or have guards start to tell you stuff as you go by..... repeating the MOTD etc...

wasn't sure I was just imagining it after playing into the early hours most night these day.

They have started to say generic messages.

Run the city welcomer missions instead, which will boost Fyros/Kami at the cost of Karavan. Doesn't affect Tryker. Can get Tryker back up quickly by doing the same if you don't mind losing a few points off Kami (like 4-5 Tryker fame for 1 Kami negative fame).

If you click on the guards they will say something like 'Train new actions to become more powerful' or 'You need new clothes'. Yawn...

Unless this patch has fixed this, fame still is severely bugged when it comes to item pricing.

They have always, even in beta said the generic stuff .... I know this.....

Will screen shot if I see it again, then when I am more awake I can see if its just my imagination.

If i read this correctly, you are saying that Personal fame with any of the 4 races caps at -50 ?
If so, then this isnt right. I have -53 personal Tryker fame.

Hrm... I have tried countless ways to lower my personal Tryker/Matis below -50. Maybe I am just really likeable and they couldn't stand the thought of not being semi-friendly with me?
