Bahh. And I thought they would put in the 4 Rites that are being tested on ATS for the last 2 weeks now.

As stated by Souls, it was a bugfix only. No content; be patient for the rites ;) I would rather they got them working before releasing them, than re-releasing them bugged :p (yes I know they *should* be working by now)

Was still a pretty crap patch, even the bugs fixed were irrelevant to most people.

like how many people give their mounts away?
how many people do it while mounted?

and even the one I like the dual affliction fix hardly anyone uses it so most people would not have noticed.

I know, I know they are hard at work developing many things that will amaze us and delight us, but bug fixing the bugs probably no-one has even reported.

I'm sure there are many people who are screaming for certain bug fixes that have not appreared and seem to have been ignored

4.9 Mb :( always a chance theres a few undocumented fixes/features etc but thats a small patch, i think smaller than the last bug fix.

Lemme think out loud:
- Linux patches
- Hidden patches or reconfiguration

I know the first one can take ages if you want to do it right and have a backup ready. afaik they might as well have replaced the kernel or recompiled it. That is not a small patch, this is a huge thing (and I think Sky should know ;-)
Hidden patches / reconfigs: weird stuff in tracking / prospecting. I think this is programmed correctly but configured a bit odd so the sources tend to be present but will not show up due to a priority system.

Like:
Using up to fine will find you basic most of the time when present. Basic has the priority. Now using choice only over a *very* big area (ramge/angle) will let you find multiple nodes that are configured differently. If too many say "no, not me" because they are basic/fine/excellent it seems to be that the prospect says nothing found.

I think a setting that handles the priority can be fiddled with (giving the rarest quality mats in any area highest priority instead if the lowest it seems to be now), the overlapping source thing might be fixed.

Beware: this post is full of hollow words like: *can*, *might*, *I think*, *like*. Please dont take it too serious if you want to flame. This is higher lvl thinking at work! For a lot of people it is too high, so if it doesnt make sense, yes, it is your own fault. Do not, I repeat, do not blame me for your lack of understanding!

8 hrs downtime to get the merchants working is worth every minute.

I currently have 120 items of my 128 items listed that are 8+ days old!

This issue alone was causing great problems.

Based on past experience, the patch note only contain a limited view on what has been fixed. As previously stated by Fry loads of if buts and maybes.

Things that I hope that they have included but not mentioned...

Major issue with aggro atm, its not respawning and its getting stuck!
(From a player point of view this is great, but the easy life gets boring very quickly!)
Inventory issues - auto stacking seem broken in many situations.
Trading between players has a number of issues.
Inventory limitaions - warning here, I currently have approx 120 tp ticket, 5 or 6 mission items and a few stacks of mats. I am right on the edge of the bag limitations, if fact I broke it last night and it was only through Turnkarns suggestions and some sideways thinking that I didn't lose 70xql200 mats!

A lot of the above would be hard to put into words (but then I just did, so maybe not that hard :P ).

I am a defender of Ayts and of the game in general. I believe in the developement team and CSR.

We really need to see more Info about whats happening. Don't treat us like mushrooms. The majority of the players here care more about the game than it APPEARS Nevrax does.

The last few patches have been great steps forward. I hope this one is packed full of undocumented fixes.

Yes, *I think* that *might* be true!
It is also possible that your brain just had a short-circuit and need a reset :P

That was my thinking too when I saw the patchnotes. The amount of changes in recent patches which haven't been documented in the patchnotes has been quite considerable.

I really, really hope this has a number of undocumented changes, which have been significant the last few patches.

If not...while I appreciate the items rolling off so I don't have to TP around to the 4 regions and pull them off manually, Nevrax's priority list here just seems strange. Easy example: fixing the merchant pricing/fame bug seems to be an issue that would affect a whole lot more people than the 7 day one.

But, it's Nevrax. Poor CSRs.
