Weak Kami Sentinels?

Ok, while I was in Matis yesterday and bored out of my mind, I decided to try something out. Iwent to the Yrkanis kam, where there is a kami welcomer, a master, some adepts, and two huge hulking Kami Sentinels (the big kind not the cool floating ones we have in Fyros).
Anyways, I decided to pull a growling gingo to these Sentinels to see what cool stuff they do (having seen some bugged ones in Thesos wipe out the herd of ocyx while I was trying to lvl
) It takes a while to find a suitable gingo unfortunately, due to the diligent matis newbies wiping them all out, but eventually I find one.
After dragging it back to the Sentinels I then stand there next to them while they stomp around me going "huff" and "zhoom" at the gingo, causing about 30 damage each hit. Yes, 30 damage. Thats when they managed to hit it. It took a whole 2 and a half minutes for the butch sentinels to kill a *growling gingo* Any lowlvl player who sought safety with them from anything more scary than a suckling yubo or bodoc would probably die a horrible death way before they managed to kill it.
What I'm basically getting at is; are they bugged, or do the Kami just not care what happens to their followers in Matis?
