A Word of Warning

It has come to our attention that there may be one or more players in game that are posing as GMs and requesting player log in and password details. You should be aware that a genuine member of the CSR crew will not ask you for your password when dealing with any issue with you and the excuse of "We need your password to update the Ryzom database" is not a genuine one. We are currently investigating to locate who was doing this and will deal with them appropriately. If you have been approached and have any information then please get in touch with a CSR in game (a real one) or indded talk to me directly in Klient or ask for me in game.
Thanks for your time
Keep the faith

This kind of behaviour is really bad, I hope it falls under the banned to life section of the EULA!

Oh I trust you Soul

I remember a gentle kick for swearing (in fun) in Klients once.
Is the death penalty still in operation in France or do you have much worse planned for them like making them play another game that has similar initials to your post title?

I'm sure they think that A) it's funny or B) they can get away with it.
A) They're wrong
B) They're very wrong.

You can guess that its going to be kids (i could be very wrong here) to need to resort to this type of behaviour as surely £8.50 a month is nothing to working adults .
Same if they just want to get control of the account to be malicious (PvP), I mean the credit card detail are still missing digits if you do gain access to that area.

I'd be inclined to agree with you Borguk - but would much rather be safe, especially if they are trying to intimidate our newer players. The in game details are different to the profile details anyway so they couldn't get much out of it. Maybe they want to strip characters to get some nice items, maybe they just wanna abuse the rules. Whatever their plans - ain't gonna happen.
