We come from the desert. During the Kitin Wars
the mighty Fyros Empire was all but destroyed
and its people scattered in the desert.
We are now returning and trying to re-establish
the Fyros power once more.

Now we are looking for our lost fratres again.


Proconsuls Ifritan, Straphar or Consul Nurili
will want to meet any Fyros who wishes to join.


How to join

It's neat how the guild developed its own dialect. Did this come about naturally or was it implemented from the founding of the guild?

It came about naturally. We were trying out different ideas, mainly discussing them at our forum - and once a couple of members pointed out that the NPC's milling about Pyr have Latin-ish names... We started tossing Latin words about.

Ouh, and a disclaimer would come in handy: we do not pretend to actually know much of Latin, we've just spiced our "narro" up a bit. This is not Latin school!

(And since I just said the above, I can't resisting showing off a wee bit: )

I'm determined to teach you guys to decline the verb "to be" in the present tense one day... it makes me cringe (ooc of course, ic it's not latin, it's ancient fyrosian ) to see the way you kick "est" around...

But we so like to kick!
