I was wondering,,.. I just read the "THE SAGA OF RYZOM CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS""

And there is rule number 4:

4.Eligibility:
The SoR Contest is open to legal residents of the United States of America, Canada (except Quebec), France, Germany, United Kingdom and Scandinavia (except where otherwise prohibited), who have reached the age of majority at ...... of the contest.

Well, I want to know if this means that I can't participate the contest because Im Dutch?

Its not discrimination. THey have to watch out for legal responsibilities. If you want to know why Holland isn't in the list I'm sure a GM could find out for you.

Well, I am dutch, and I won a T-shirt at a screenie contest...
(altough I still need to receive it )

And we all know Holland is a land without law, so that is prolly why it
is not in the list!

Besides the rules, you have to overcome the various bugs in the contest.
Like answering correctly in time but not getting your reply logged (more than a few have had this happen so far).

So I participated for nothing then ew that sucks. maybe they didn't see our country on the map 0_0 we know its not big, anyway the dutch would love to win cool stuff to like a T-shirt tho.....

Actually, replying before the end of the contest doesnt mean you've been among the first to reply...

I am not sure, but didnt Kaboom win the first contest?
Kaboom is from The Netherlands or Belgium...

You are right about that.
But that isn't my "beef" with the contest. It is answering correctly before the time runs out, and not getting logged.
If you note the list, there are 11 wins per contest, only 6 was shown, meaning that there were "room" for 5 more.
And I know of 2 who answered correctly who are not on the list.

Sadly for her/him you are right. Listed on the forum as resident in Amsterdam (asuming this is correct info).
