Returning to Ryzom

After playing Ryzom for about two months, I bailed to play the World of Warcraft. I've decided to come back (I like WoW...just getting really tired of the played out Elves/Dwarves/Gnomes/etc. genre). Since I"m lazy and don't want to read all the forum posts, what has been changed in the game since about mid-November?

WELCOME BACK!

It is always nice to see the community grow. :)

Check out the list of patches on the main page. Cerest has also posted a thread somewhere around here with a generalized current history up until a few weeks ago. We gots some shiny new Mektoubs to ride, as well as some tougher packers and an encyclopedia that occasionally works. Also Black Star bosses have appeared, and take a lot of power or educated fleeing to defeat.

Near Thesos is the Golden Izam and a Golden Bodoc, and along the southwest wall between Dyron and the shiny new portal direct to Zorai is a chick and her minions that make mincemeat out of most folks.

There is also a contest going on where you can win a GeForce, or some jazz like t-shirts and mousepads n' stuff. 11PM Eastern time on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Or maybe that's over... We've had only four contests so far, but only two sets of winners have been announced so far.

Just to name a couple of interesting things anyhow.
