because.... you don't just tell it to someone....
you whisper it to them so it's not so loud o_O

it had extra letters? *shrug*
Only useful ones I can think of off the top of my head are
/region this text will go out over region
/tell name this text will be sent in a tell to name
/gu this text will go out over guild chat
/say this text will go out over local/vicinity
/team this text will go out over team channel
/shout this text will be yellow and is mainly used for organization in large events and such.
/who gm
/who sgm
/who guide (i think)
/target "mob name" i.e. /target "bloated izam"

I dont believe that would work, your example that is. As far as i am away it doesnt support the spaces. But I could be wrong. Hm... just noticed u used "" as well. Is that why?

that would be cool then

/follow
/chatLog
And /target works abbreviated, ie /tar ael, /tar kip, /tar clop
If you want to use / commands in macros or assign a key, you can -- just use a chat command in around and fill in the / command as the text to say. It will execute the command rather than saying it.
