Lienchang: i disced and couldn't come back. I promised you the story: here it is.
The ultimate trip of Death
Wednesday-evening 19:40 hrs. I had a weird feeling all day. I was at work, but felt 'something'. I couldn't place it for several hours, but when browsing the forum I knew it. Tonight would be my last night for the Safari. And now I could place it. It was fear. Real fear. Fear of the horrible deaths I was about to die that evening. Now picture yourself in this situation. You know you will die the most horrible deaths. Painfull. A continueous feeling of not being able to survive and a small amount of hope is fighting the fear but losing all the time. The hope of avoiding a few deaths. And then the issue of DP. Would it be an issue? Would I reach my max? Will I still be the same afterwards? A lot of questions and no answers and nobody to answer them for me. THIS i must do alone. It made me feel weird today. Nobody to share it with.
It's my burden. I have to live with it...
Or die with it...
Or die for it.
I can only sit back and see what comes. I came to the conclusion that if I would go where nobody wants to be, I would do it and face my fate in a memorable way. Sonia will not be forgotten. Amen.

I am in Fairhaven and Threbus is there as well. I know he will be my opponent for the night and he mentions he will go Safari as well. Is he as dedicated as I am? Does he know more mobs? Will he port all over the map and put me at a big distance? He ports away and I decide to port to Yrkanis to go get Bodokin. I know it's somewhere in Psykopla Knoll in those nasty mountains. First one I see in Yrkanis is...Threbus. Damn! That *******. He seems persistant and ready to face what's on his way. But me too. I feel strong and ready for battle. We wish each other luck and each go our own way. It's dark and the little mountains in Psykopla annoy the hell out of me. It takes me a good 15 minutes to find Bodokin in the dark not knowing the way. But here he is. Let's start simple.

Ah ****, I am just running south from Yrkanis as I haven't got a clue where to go. I run for some minutes shooting some lower level aggromobs on the way when I run in some Javins. I do manage to beat 4 of them and have to use invul to get rid of the rest. I'm running like crazy seeing a camp in front of me and hoping I have some protection there. My invul wears off and I see the "Seed addicts" in front of me. Hopefully I make it there. I'm a seed-addict as well I joke to myself when I run in their camp and stand still. They all look at me. They all look at me? What the ****? They attack me and i can not even react as I thought it would all be friendly here. So much for being in a Karavanloverland. **** the Seed Addicts. May they die 1200 horrible deaths. I make a mental note to get some people together and slaughter them some evening. Twice.

I respawned at the Hole in Matis as I know there named Javins there (little like Doren). It is quite dark and I am running slowly and checking out the area constantly because it's not a nice area to walk around. I see Torbaks/Bawaabs/Javins but no named one. It's so dark I can't see **** and walk slowly to the left when I bump into Torrius. Never heard of him, but let me tell you that surviving a Torbak there on your own is impossible. This, my friends, is a named Torbak. I manage to Crtl-f10 before one of his friends can chew too much of me and even manage to activate speedup

Why no invul you ask? Well before I thought it would be handy to put poison on my amps so I wanted to make some sap chrystals. They are normally at my bar at 8, so I press 8 and wonder why nothing happens. Oh..I put invul there last night. Ah..usefull. NOT.

I make a run back to the Mektoubs and turn around only to see the *******'s still on my tail. Byebye Sonia!

I decide to port to Loria, because I still had to do Gerder again to take away any doubt whether it would be the real one. I sneak between some Torbaks in the water, swim a little to the right and see him immediatly. I have invul back, so I activate it and see him turn around to kill something else. The *******! Now I can;t make a good picture. I run after him and he turns around. I have the prove now. Never will make it back to the water in time, so I turn around for the crowd-pleasing picture. Damn! I actually could have made it I notice and start running. Invul wears off. BANG 1800 damage. (i got 2000 and a little). I press heal (but this only heals 1000 and I notice now that it's not very usefull when being hit for 1800) and hope for a dodge. Murphy's Law is in effect as I dodge, but some mob is in my way and I'm trying to run through that mob. Gerder once more rises his legs to strike merciless and I go down. I close my eyes and float away. Fairhaven seems a nice place to dream about.

I am done with writing up to here and go on Safari-ing. I notice Threbus uploaded a bunch of shots, but seems to quit now. All added he probably has more now, but i'm not done yet. Sonia goes on. Talk to you later.

So I ported to Fyros to get some there. I port to Oases and start walking for a good 20 minutes without seeing anything. Asking around in region gives me no response at all. Suddenly near Pyr I see this big social boy.

I cross some bridge and around the corner a kincher is awaiting me. invul+speed doesn't get me very far (the ****er followed me through half of Fyros) and down I go again.

I port to Kipucka Plain: see nothing there
I port to Thesos, ask around: nobody knows. I run to the back of Thesos and try my luck there. Bunch of Zerx/Varinx spotted me and i go invul/speed again, but can't seem to find any named mobs. Dead again. I spawn somewhere else and decide to port to Zora.

In Zorai-land I shout some in region as well to help me on my suicidal mission. And, despite i'm a Karavan-lover i get 2 nice responses. (In Fyros i got n00b-remarks from people dying to yubo's and messabs). Here Lienchang decides unselfishly to help me on my trip trough Zorai. She asks me to port to Min-Cho and I do so. While I activate my tp I see a named Messab. I quickly cancel my tp and take the easy point

This is the point where Longblade logs on and goes mad with named mobs. As we know him he's complaining that he does not want to win his own price...bla...bla...bla in the Longstyle we know. But the frightening part is he keeps on calling named mobs while all I do is run around in Zorai looking for them. Long's on a role and there seems no stopping him. I mention I got 7 already tonight (i see now I only got 5 at this point) maybe demoralizing him a bit. Did I tell you I have an evil nature? Well there you go.
Now something about Lienchang. She's a big bad blue warrior with an impressive advanced heavy melee weaponsmith title. I felt safe. In a nice jungle trip she shows me around Zorai and i really enjoyed the views. Some season-named mobs weren't there but we went all the way to the Void in a nice, safe and easy way. How's that for being a guide? I even got some ancient history at the next stones "which were build in honor and remembrance of the last Zorai defenders from the Kittin invasion who in the end made the Zorai live underground". We both bowed respectfully and continued our trip. Atys can't be boring. With history like this and stories like this, I will spend the rest of my life here hoping by the time I reach 65 they found a way to upload me.

Next stop is a named Torbak. I have some experience with them. none of them any good by the way. I ask Lienchang to go out of the way as it will not be a pretty sight seeing my dead body. She wishes me good luck and is on her way to PR-spawn as I will spawn there might I die. Lol. Might I die. Judge the pics and take a guess.

Ofcourse i die. Fast, not painless but good enough. I fall down and while the Torbaks take the better parts of me, I think ahead and ignore the pain. Next stop PR.

I wait some more and finally see what she means. Now this is an awesome view! Make sure to take the time to check this next time you're on the Zorai end of the Prime Roots. On a hill there's standing a named Kincher (Dai-Den). And this is really an impressive sight. He's standing there as the king, and no doubt he is, of the area. I don't have invul, so I'm not sure if I can make the shot as before him and left and right of him are kinchers as well. And I have to climb a hill as well. Ah we'll see. Worst thing is dying and I can always wait for invul to come back. I take my chance as I see an opening and get the first pic. I know it's certainly not my standard quality pic, so knowing I won't live to tell the tale, I decide to stick around and try to get the ultimate pic (dodge needed). I manage a dodge but don't manage a good shot. I'll include them though for you all to see I didn't run away as a scared yubo.

So I respawn once again and Lienchang, helping me without any reward, tells me another aggro named mob is not far. Hey! That's what i'm here for. She ran me around for more than an hour already but still brings me to the next. If they ever search a name for all that is good in Atys, "Lienchang" must be considered. She brings me to the spot where I have font memories of. Here Kaboom, Xorte and myself were slaughtering Arma's for 3k in Carl-Lewis-100-meter-style. Here's the camp where they have a kipesta as their pet. Go check it out, it's really funny.She points to some mobs further away and mentions 'real real real aggro' after I ask if they are. I ask her to run back to the camp as I'll try to escape there as well and let the guards do the rest. I run towards him, but the *******s in the back of the pack and his followers already spotted me. Invul activated much too early in my opinion. I can't come too close as I can't go through them and decide to quickly take the first shot. Invul active so a second shot as well and go in escape mode. I don't run the wrong way now, but invul wears off too quickly and soon i'm dead meat as speed can't get me anywhere in time.

I respawn, but Lienchang knows another mob and says I should spawn in Zora. I port there and start lagging like mad. 5 seconds lag, 2 seconds normal, 5 seconds lag and BANG: there goes my internet connection. 20 minutes of inspection later I notice my cable is broken. Not something I can solve now. OMG how rude. I can't even thank Lienchang. I just disappeared. I am just finishing this story now, nowing I was noway near ready with my ultimate-safari, but there's no way to come back online now. I'll just copy this story + pics to my memorystick and hope that it will be enough for the title.
Lienchang thanks again. Couldnt have done it without your help. It really is appreciated and the comfortable thought of people still helping others without anything in it for them really makes me want to play this game more and more.
