Since CP was in the PR, I've heard three different stories about what happened, and I'm hardly paying attention to chat :P The politics and apparent little vendettas and other things are insane. Would you like to know exactly what happened?

We heard there was a Karavan group moving through ToT. We wanted to do something interesting and went to check it out. We ported to the SE portal in ToT and stepped outside into the PvP area to get PvP capable, then we started talking and figuring out what to do. Dawley (leader of Synergy) was either there or came up -- we asked him to drop his weapon, he didn't respond. We killed him. Talk in /region started, and we threatened the transport as Karavan supporting. We found the main guild involved was neutral in a way that we were ok with, so we apologized and backed off. Then we heard that there might be a Matis group coming to fight us, so we waited for a while in ToT, stepping back inside the safe area as some of us went afk. It seemed no one was coming after all, so we left one by one. I was one of the last 2 of us sitting idle at the portal, and the transport hadn't even gotten there yet, if that's where they were headed.

Anyone who says otherwise wasn't there and was misinformed or is lying. We already have the good ol' CP reputation that we do, and I'm used to it from being in a raiding guild in Everquest, so I don't really mind =D It makes things interesting. It just seems completely whacked, the colorful stories coming out of this whole whole night of missed excitement :P

EDIT: Oh yeah, and when we apologized and were talking about it, we offered to help the transport, more than once :P

From my standpoint... I was hunting in the Grove when someone in my team said a Karavan slaughter was going on in ToT. I went to Majestic Garden and some people were talking on region about it. Apparently a caravan was being harassed by CP. We started talking about going down and defending them. Then I sent some tells to Dawley and learned that everything had worked out. Then I left.

I can kind of see where a bunch of different stories may have sprung up.

Random crazy stories have a way of popping up. For example: after the first battle in the Nexus, some people had heard that CP and Melinoe had fought together to make the Nexus Karavan only and that we were stopped by the group that showed up after everything was pretty much over. I normally just laugh and ignore it.

I miss all the fun while I sleep...
