That's just lovely. Since I went ahead and did the content as it was introduced, now I have to wait yet another week.
Hey Nevrax heres a tip for you...
YOU WOULDN'T OF HAD THIS PROBLEM IF YOU ACTUALLY PUT THE RITES ON THE TEST SERVER TO BE TESTED!
You should just kill the test server as it really has no purpose.

if you'd have read it carefully you'd have noticed that it is working now, but the reward will be applied later to those who actually did the quest, BUT it also means you can already look at it by making an alt and going through the mission, there's no fighting necessary to complete it =)

I did read it and it's not fixed, its still broken. If it's fixed I should be able to sign on, get my cube, and not have a rite frozen. That is not the case, I am still going to be in the same situation I am now. Also telling me to make a new character to complete it, really kind of voids the entire idea behind the encylopedia, now doesn't it?

the rite isn't frozen, the rite is completed, you just haven't gotten the reward yet (the barman was out of stock ^^)

If you had read it carefully you would of noticed that the rite will remain frozen to those who have done it:
"The initiation rite will be fixed, however there is a side effect for players who already did it, but never got the amber cube. For those players this rite will seem frozen."
"In a nutshell, if you already did the initiation rite, it won't be unlocked until next week. We are sorry for any inconvenience that may cause."

seem, because to the server it is completed and done, now they only need to add what the server didn't do when closing the rite, which is making the encyclopedia display the correct text and also activating the reward itself

Exactly, so it's not fixed.

Ok, it is fixed, by not quite ... If it is not fixed dont call it as such.
The other component of it, is that I think nevrax should fire that one person that does QA (if there is one)
The bugs left out in the game as so obvious, it makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes - must be a mess.
I have a perfect example on the bug/code wrting.
http://www.runuo.com - the guys implemented the entire game within a year's timeperiod with virtually NO bugs; the quality of the code written by 4 people in their spare time superseeds any Nevrax code by an order of magnitude. If 4 people can write an entire game from scratch in a year of a better quality then a commercial company in 3 years ... am i the only one questioning the commitement levels here?
