Ryzom

Not gonna make this long and boring, dont worry.

Very simply put, i dont derive any enjoyment out of ryzom anymore, i havent had the incentive to log on for the last 2 months, as i know i will just stand there and ask myself what exactly am i doing.
I achieved the titles of smasher,slasher,skewerer,priest,master of pain, desert forager, jungle forager etc etc etc.. then realized that they mean absolutely nothing, its just pointless to level and develop the character, as there is no content that requires such levels.

I dunno, im not going to go on and on about how ryzom simply does not appeal to me anymore, its just all been downhill since patch 1.

Best of luck to all of you who decide to stay, hope u enjoy it, u have been a great community, i enjoyed playing alongside u folks a lot,and you made my first mmorpg memorable

PS: im in WoW now, eu final 11, pcheez tauren druid, if anyone wants free enchants

I'll be taking a break in the next few days if the patch (even arrives!) doesn't fix harvesting rites. The whole reason I leveled my elemental extremely high was because foraging wasn't any fun anymore. Good luck!

Ill be doing both, had WoW on pre-order for some time but will be keeping Ryzom going as Im finding it still interesting.
Im not a power leveller and I dont think the game is aimed at those sort of ppl personally, it seems those who have played it so much to have that many titles since release must have been on an awful lot. If you have then youve just got to the ive done everything point alot earlier, which is a shame because the content tbh isnt coming fast enough.

Outposts - devs cant get them working is what some players are saying.

As the treasurekeeper for Evolution, I know we always welcome donations to the guild. Seeing that a guildhall doesnt have any orifices that can be shoved by you personally, I offer assistance in the shoving mentioned.

So if you can tell me when you will be online by what username, we can make an appointment to commence in the activity you mention. It would be my pleasure to witness the ravashing of buildings or the pushing of large objects in tiny spaces.

Bye All games grow old .... this is a fact of life.

I personally stay for many other reasons than just the game.

- Guild, alliance guilds, friends.
- I still have done everything.
- I find it fun
- I have goals to be achived
- Ryzom is different from the 'standard' Tolkien based world.
- you can have fun with players of any level
- its not linear
- titles are not important, fun is
- So much choice of things to do, no evenings play needs to be the same as the last.
- its an 8 year project, not a version 1, version 2.....
- its challanging, some times if feels impossible, till you know how then its easy


So, have fun and pop back to say hi, every now and then......

The populations is growing faster than the Old timers leave, so I am happy to stay and continue having fun.

I have only one disagrement with you ...

sorry but this is not true....

Mobs are balanced, regions are almost perfectly set up for lvl 50 - 200
Harvesting is consistant and much improved since the days of the mode 1 issue.
Crafting system - greatly improved, MQL & HQL have worth as wells as look now.
Events - more complex and rewarding, they are still learning and improving each and everytime
Rites - (soon to be fixed, this week) 90% working and a great distraction from the treadmill and nice rewards for completing them too.

Since release IMHO the game has got better and better.
