If we kill a boss, say like the clopper boss on clopper hill in Fryos, what happens then? Anybody know?
I was hopeing the cloppers would go away or maby if we kill it it wont come back.
If nothing happens then that would kind of suck wind.
I am now trying to get our guild ready for a real attempt. It would be nice if there were some mission to kill it or the other bosses.

They go away for awhile.. some mobs take a couple RL days to respawn. I dragged Kipesketh to Dyron today and when it was killed all the minions dissapeared leaving a nice safe forage area

. The ones with minions also drop supreme mats.

oh yeh, go hunt down Ocyketh west of Thesos at the Spring. You'll have a grand ole time killing him and all his goonies, and he drops some good mats too, or use to.

Just wanna clarify what Fist said as some Demolishers, Destroyers, Slayers, Terminators, and Death mobs have minions. Anything that ends with -kya, -kin, -keth, -koo, or -kan will give 10 supremes and tend to have minions. In addition, respectively to each of those lists, they can only be found in Zorai, Matis, Fyros, PR, and Tryker (except for kirokya. Dunno what his problem is.)

but there are also ones with unique names, like kussok (mektoub), skellop (ocyx), klops (kipee), ibakus (lumper), skoff (gingo), ora (yubo?) and hisserto (arma).
they do have excellent materials but now always the same count I think. this ones do not have minions, beside skellop but the ocyx around do not react on attacking the boss.

Ora really isn't a unique, as there are 3 or 4 of them at any one time.

the only really "unique" ones are those that have lots of minions defending them. they usually have different textures as well, and drop a few supreme mats.
the others are just bigger versions of the normal creatures, and there are usually multiple in a region. for example when i was in Winds of Muse i saw 6 Dorren (big cute) standing in within 100m of me, and there were probably another 10 at least somewhere else in the region.

i just said, they have a unique name, not that they are. by the way, today I found fraketh, surrounded by many lurking frahars. I used my speedup to run away, but I was killed by a double-spell, a root or stun + elemental dmg combination.. painful, the sysinfo said, that I was killed by "elite-guards". I was not able to see those guards, were they the guards of fraketh or just something dangerous that was hanging around with him?

Probably Fraketh minions. I've noticed a lot of buggy names in sys info for bosses and minions.. stuff like elite_boss_1_blah_blah2. They seem to be getting fewer and fewer though.
