When I need some mats fast, I move to the merc, select the quality range and type, and I just buy all player mats (unless it is really a lot), regardless of price. This might give players dappers to buy my armors :-) .

So I would fall for this, please refrain from using it. I might start paying attention....

apparently some people use it to store mats that they have no room for (or so I'm told)

for example you put a mat in you get say 300 dapper and a promise of 49700 dapper if you sell it, at a later date you can still reclaim it for 300 dapper. This is alot cheaper than a packer and dare I say apartment.

not that I do it, dont think I've ever had a full bag yet never mind need extra room

*gasp* that is actually smart and st00pid at the same time!

Smart: free storage and if sold, loads of dappers.
St00pid: one may look like a scammer.
Silly: grind it away or buy an appartment. Dont be a packrat that just *has* to hold on to everything...

You cant beleve how menny ppl do it. I have 3 packers full of mats, armor and wepons for new players. Ok i lack space, and i dont have 1 mill to buy an appartment. Well yes i have 1 mill but its working materials and ticket monny. on 1 session i can easely spend 60k on tickets to do deliverys. It would be darn easy if i digg up 99mats and tray to "stock" tem at the store. But i dont. Ocasionaly it happens i need a level in craft fast and you buy fast cos there ar 4 plyers at the store. Well then it happens 12q 100 mats bought for 633.336dp. (usualy it happens when you ar drunk or half sleeping)

Well this makes you log guys.

This whos one of the most common scam on lineage2 The SS-Scam (soleshot scam).

I knowe some ppl who have good intentions and dont want to scam but when you make 600k and the harm is done well you ar fuc** and have no way of controling or /telling the seller/buyer. The seller cant refund or eaven some ppl intentionaly scam in this way.

Maximum % or cap would be a nice implimentation

Really, really bugs me.

People who go into the PR and find a source. Fill their bag, but can't be bothered to go back to thier packer, so they just sell to the nearest NPC merchant of hawker. Then they simply keep digging and repeating the process. No wonder there are never any mats in the PR.

This should be stopped NOW.

Simply make it that you can't buy back your own mats once up for sale.

just put a maxprice in the filters at 3k or the sum you're willing to pay for 1 item.
not really that hard to do imho (learned it the hard way >.<)

But... but... but!

People realy should see what they are buying, how can someone say that they don't look at the prices?
Sometimes I use the merchants for temporary storage, specially those hawkers in the middle of nowhere when I don't have my mule around. Very handy and I expect them to be there when I get to town and can move them to my mule.
I have also (other games) used merchants to show my merchadise and to "tell" costumers that their goods were ready for deliver. As you know it's impossible to set permission on the goods in almost every game.
So in a few months expect items to be priced like 1110001900, meaning it can be delivered at 19:00.

A related story, I put my gun in the merchants because I run out of space, ammonition and materials to craft them. Even with a markup of 4000 someone bought it. <sob>

I don't think its a scam, because everyone can check the prices and see what he is buying.

But I read on the german forum a thread where someone bought 35 supreme mats for 54 mill dappers by mistake (she used the extra storage "feature" and clicked on the wrong stack)

In the end, who cares. Just be careful when you buy mats.
