To me, the various combat options are mind numbing there are so many but I'll let a dedicated fighter (which I am not) give more details.
Also I've never heard anything about PK with this game. Is there any? And if so is it restricted or a free for all like Lineage 2?
Players, teams and guilds can fight each other but by invitation only; however, there is at least one area, the Arena in the Emerald Heights (Matis country), where it's free-for-all. Entering that area is an open invitation to attack and be attacked.

I'm still relatively low level as a fighter, but the options for what attacks I make are pretty extensive. The idea is that the player can pick and choose between the components of an attack - for instance Accuracy +1 with Improved Damage +2 balanced with the appropriate Stamina Cost. At this point, I also have options for Ignore Armor (only with piercing weapons), Bleed (damage over time with edged weapons), Slow (like a stun with blunt weapons), as well as being able to target specific body parts which will have various effects. There are others which I haven't explored yet.

All the above can be mixed-and-matched and allow great versatility. Also, you can have, I think, up to 200 of these made up and ready to use. Making them is pretty straighforward.

Hope this helps,
Fitz
