Firstly, the rites missions themselves are broke. Secondly, talk to the barman in whichever town you are in and they will send you on a journey which will introduce some of the people in town who can give you rites missions
Just doing enough of any old missions will gives you some of the smaller "build up" missions blobs in the encyclopedia as far as I'm aware.

I completed the one from the barman in yrk, and I know of 2 ppl who have done the rite mission for the jewelry spinoff chain from that, gave them +50focus permanently - not bad
We did find the Majestic Garden one was bugged tho, we found the harvest spot we were supposed to, but no mats there

I've done around 4-5, and one of them was badly bugged (missing text altogether, but the missions steps were clear) and so far I'm not impressed about the rewards, although a solid 50 pt stat boost isn't all that bad. I have hope that there's really something special out there, not like this ability of mine to make so ugly wooden bucklers that even tyranchas steer away from me, even though they can't see. ...but it's unique, heh heh.
All in all, good change of pace. Just have to see if there's really something worth learning crafting plans you'll never use again or really worth the hassle.

There is one in Pyr that gives you a special protection aura

The guard chief gives it to you but the mission will be hella hard if all those cloppers & goaris are still there ;P

Maybe theres requirements that you dont meet ?,I cant get any missions from the Zora Guard chief but others in my guild have done so and recieved a new Aura
Its not fame (I have 100 Zorai and Kami on personal) maybe its melee lvl ? -im only 101 2H or maybe you need to have an Aura already or its triggered by another mission which Ive yet to complete...

Yes its possible that there are requirements not met, but if this is the case then it seems very odd that the pre-requirement missions for the rite that spriteh mentioned are obtained from the lowest ranking officer and are all completed in the lowest zone in Fyros (mobs up to lvl 50). The final part of the rite is in the lvl 100 zone (i know what it is from the ATS). I too have over 100 2h melee, and it just doesnt seem logical that i would need lvl 150+ to be able to receive this rite.
Since doing the "broken" amber cube mission, i have spoken to many many rite givers, but none offer me any rites. I have even travelled to other lands and checked the rite givers there. Im 99% sure that, with 3 branches over lvl 150 and good fame ratings, i should be able to get
some rites, if all is working as intended.
