This is a note from the Euro-English guys, It seems that Medium and High Quality patterns of crafted items will only craft an item of that Quality with Choice+ mats. The price of pretty stuff just went up!

If this is not correct, please post any corrections.

This is a very misleading item. I tested a bit on ATS and this are my findings:

- basiq quality items can be crafted of all kinds of materials (not sure if from all races because its hard to reach another civ alone)

- medium and high Q items can only be crafted of choice and better material !!!!!

- The error message you get is very missleading: it tells you that there is some raw materials missing although all slots are filled

Actually this makes sense to me, anoying, but makes sense.

Medium and High quality armor 'should' in my oppinion be made only from choice or better mats.

Regular quality armor 'should' be able to be made from 'any' mat in the game that matches its criteria.

You make Modi with generic or fine mats, and its pretty much useless armor.

However, I don't know if this is what 'they' intended.

Actually, not necassarily true. I have made armor with a combination of excellent or supreme mats with some fine mats to get different colors and the stats turn out just as good as choice or better.

I can understand the concept behind this, however, this is going to make it way more of a pain to get different colors or even making parry armor.
