All this on "true Karavaneers", "Kamivan" and whatever...
Do not presume to judge others, as your own actions may be held to account.
Your view of the Karavans aims and objectives may not agree with that others hold. You are not the sole authority on how this game is "supposed" to be.
People are what they declare themselves to be. Kami, Neutral, Karavan.
You pays yer fame missions and you take your TP choices.
Don't try and fog the issue. I am neutral, you saying "kami!" will not change that. I do not get Purple Zone or PR TPs from Kami, I can TP to various Karavan spots.
If ya choose to think I'm a Kami then clearly you are having problems relating "your opinions" to "the way things actually are" and I suggest you take a break, look at me TPing happily into Yrk or FH via Kara TPs and think very carefully about the nature of where your beliefs stop and the real world starts.
This is not a flame, it is not aimed at anyone specifically, no names are mentioned. If you feel it applies to you and are offended by it, I take no responsibility for your opinion, since clearly it's entirely outside my ability to influence it.

Thakyou Jyudas and slythe.. you have got exactly what im saying down to a tee.
Dinner was lovley btw
We are not contrained to faction and slythe put it exactly right .. there are moderates and extremist parts of both factions and indeed the neutrals..
Multifaceted is a great word to describe the complicated chatacter make-up of the atysian populace..
We all make our own descisions and the strong anmouungst us follow our hearts.. that is what makes this special and gives tis game layers..
If it was pure FvF it would become tiresome quickly.
/tar Jyudas + Slythe

It isn't simply a two-sided struggle with Karavan vs Kami, it's a very complex multi-faceted struggle between extremists, moderates and neutrals, with the nation/race and guild politics thrown in as well. A moderate karavanist may not want to see his friends and neighbours attacked by members of his own religion, and might actually be angry that his religion is being "hijacked" and twisted away from what he/she was brought up to believe. Helping the victims of these extremists retake what is "theirs" is well within bounds of RP.
So we are a bunch of extremists Slythe and probably all wrong too ? Because we dont play like you?
When kami will retake the power on that server, Kami will help we cause we are the new Victims ? And call kami extremists ?

Best Exemple: One man guild can attack an OP 250 or any OP, One guy can make a new toons create a guild and attack 3-4 OP at the sametime, Just because he want that.. So Yeah we need more restriction in game.
There's other ways to deal with that without stomping on people's freedom to play any more.

Yes, some people are playing extremists. Often the same people expressing 'one true wayism' OOC as well, not all though. If things should ever reverse - and I don't think they will as it's a positive feedback loop - I would expect ostensibly Kami players to assist some ostensibly Karavan players back, yes.

I guess you see it clearly here, atleast when you speak about my guild. I don't see why I should change faction only to make the game easier for the people, that made the game harder for me in the first place. So you will have to deal with members in your faction, that disagree with your opinion and your actions.

Because it isn't the same thing?
I like to roleplay, I built my character up through the way the game was presented, the lore and what occurred from the start of play. The carpet has been ripped out from under me somewhat with the abrupt change in game environment but I've found ways to maintain character integrity in spite of that.
I don't have a problem with people playing the way they prefer, I do have a problem when that starts to impinge on others and I do think people should show some appreciation of the fact that not everyone likes the same thing as them.
Some people play very selfishly.
If thinking that there's room for everyone to play their own way is extremist, then fair enough. Guilty.

Extremists Vs moderates remember?
Someone might follow the Karavan but might still be friends with Kami.
I'm trying to think of a real world example that isn't too politically charged for this forum.... ummm... buggrit, will make one up.
Say there's a religion called Spoonerism. Spoonerism teaches the way of the almighty Spoon that scooped out the universe.
The Book of Spoon is written in the ancient tongue of Ladlese which is prone to terrible mistranslation and misunderstanding.
In the modern age most people are lapsed Spooners, they sort of believe in the Spoon and living in the general fashion of the overall tone of The Book of Spoon but by and large they're just people.
Some devout Spooners take the 'Thou shalt not use a fork' commandment very seriously though, and have been bombing restaraunts in order to remove the forky menace, killing people in the process!
The cops that arrest them for their bombings are more moderate Spoonists, but attend the church of spoon every spoonday. Are they betraying The Way of the Spoon by arresting these fanatics?
