i'm happy no one of you is my lawyer all who are believing sharing accounts is like letting you car open on the streets unattended: if someone jumbs into the open car and drives away, it was grossly negligent from the car owner and probably no assurance will pay for the stolen car. but do you really think this does legitimate to steal the car?
same here, Nevrak declines all responsibility for any ham caused to your account by the unauthorized use of your login or password. those who shared their account were grossly negligent and nevrak is not bound to give anything back. but the one using the account to delete/steal their stuff and disband the guild so the OPs get ownerless is clearly ruining the game expierence of some players and this is griefplay and shouldn't be tolerated by the community.

I agree with the whole post and the quoted bit in particular.jawa00 wrote:but the one using the account to delete/steal their stuff and disband the guild so the OPs get ownerless is clearly ruining the game expierence of some players and this is griefplay and shouldn't be tolerated by the community.
All those of you flaming this thread and effectively saying they got what they deserved should consider that fact. IMHO that's FAR worse than sharing accounts. After all what harm have the account sharers done to any other player by their actions?
The perpetrators of this are the lowest of the low, pathetic thiefs of the worse kind. Anyone who condones it or attempts to justify it or take advantage of it is no better. End of.

As I learn more about what happened I think everyone involved needs a slap on the wrist, change their passwords and stop sharing account information.

Re: What Happend Last Night
As you know investigations into recent account irregularities have been ongoing. These investigations have revealed a bigger picture than the incident which came to light this week a picture thats pretty sick and twisted. As a result, several accounts and players have been banned for life, several suspensions have been put in place and some very harsh warnings have been given out these relate to the bigger picture involved around this incident.
This goes to show that if you are going to share your account with someone, you have no defence if they use it to grief, harass or become a pain in the butt. If you use multiple accounts to try and get around a suspension or ban we detect it very quickly with the tools we have. The CSR team with the backing of Nevrax simply will not allow this kind of behaviour to spoil the game experience of the majority of players who come here to play, have fun, make friends and experience Ryzom. If you feel the rules dont apply to you, or you see nothing wrong with griefing, or think you will get away with it then you are wrong.
In short, this rather repulsive incident is now resolved and while of course you are free to talk about it on the forums, please avoid flaming as always. Now get back out there and start playing

Re: What Happend Last Night
One of the parties involved has requested that I ask if you could tell us when the people involved will know the verdict on their individual circumstances. Also, will they will be receiving an email to inform them of what action has been taken?
