All you had to do if you were finding killing to be to easy was to head south and tackle a pack of scary Gingos. Now I don't know if anything is ideal for anyone.
Whith too easy I mean that group of 3 50ish-70ish mages and 3-4 lvl 80ish-100ish fighters was hunting armas who is lvl 180 becouse they had low hp.
And why somebody will go kill something hard if they still get 3k xp max?

I am a player who likes to play solo although I do team up on occassions. Take tonight for instance; on for just over an hour got killed 5 times have not seen what the dp is yet but it won't be small. Staying alive would be a plus instead of worrying about xp.

With the heal upgrades , the unbalancing between health and sap / stamina got worse.
As before , health gives you more fight credit than stamina , and this is stamina';s sole job remember.
Sap is at least as usefull point for point as health is.
But , now health is about 3 times easyer to heal.
This means there is no use for sap or stamina boost items , just use health.
Any mage of fighter grouping should use health as their primary power source - the healers will have a much easyer time keeping you going.
And yes this includes the primary tank , the health cost of moves is trivial compared to the ammounts of dammage and healing flying around in a group hunt.
In my opinion , this is just very wrong.
Bringm back Sap and Stanmina !
ie. change the balence of the credit bricks to favour sap / stamina over health.

Is there something you would like to let us know? Do you have suggestions for Nevrax on how to improve the game? Do you have feedback on customer service?
Let us know and we'll make sure it gets passed on!
Haven't all the other thousands of posts said anything??
We want the game back as it was before this mess, how dare you ask us what we want if we have posted it at least hundreds of times!!!!

Russek, this thread was started on September 25th, not since the patch.

For the most part, I think i prefer things as they are now. The balance between the quality of the weapons you use, the mobs you fight and the mats you get seems much better. Sure, you'll only get around 1200xp but shouldn't the 3000xp be reserved for taking on something much harder than yourself, something you can't do every 2 minutes? I also like the mobs hit points now, swinging a sword at a dog for 10 minutes was just daft and as for the mobs damage, is it so unreasonable that a creature the size of a small house can do as much damage as you? I've not got the hang of everything yet, especially harvesting and crafting so maybe i'm missing something, but it seems that the changes should only upset the people that do nothing but level (nothing wrong with that), maybe there should be more stuff to do, or goals to aim for so that the levelling happens in the background instead of being the only thing to pass the time. My only real complaint is the isolation of the races, like many people I have friends in other regions and find it impossible to get to them, which is a shame. Having said all that, I'll probably get killed by a yubo in about 5 minutes and change my mind.

One moment, how come you know what everybody wants? I for my part do not have that much an issue with the patch changes, and from what I've seen in other posts around the forums, there's a good number more like me. I object being implicitely included in an opinion which calls the state of this game a mess.
I don't think that screaming around like that will change a single thing. Not the most constructive post...

OK i'm new around here, only been playing Ryzom for a week or so, but if anyone is interested, i'll share with you what i found good/bad and how i would change things.
1. The community is very good, best I have seen lately. Everybody's helpful teaming is easy and rewarding. So i would insert missions for teams as well, not only for individuals. Probably not only guild missions, but they are of highest importance.
2. Grapics are also great, I found it better than WoWs. But sounds are only mediocre and WHERE IS THE MUSIC??? In the trailers there were nice songs, so I don't there is no one in your team who could do this.
3. The monsters are unique, but there are way too few sorts of them, and they need some balancing. But the efforts are ok.
4. I tried to be a warrior/crafter and that was awfully hard, still foraging was very boring to me. Maybe I'm stupid, but crafting is not well implemented I think. Before you flame me, I have foraging and after days of prospecting I still think it's not worth the effort. Quality is nearly random and the crafting skills are too expensive. The time I could make a full light armor, I had no use for it since I was near level 30. Yet with cheaper skills and more materials it would be very interesting, because the basic idea was great. Really.
5. Looting is something, that is good and bad at the same time. Good because of the materials dropped, bad because you can loot only mats and only very few from it. My suggestion: more mats and some other stuffs would be great. Hey why don't you create a skill, which would determine what you loot?
6. Magic looks great, works not so well. Some spells are great (fear) some are no use (madness). Balance them please!!! Oh and dont forget to make bomb and spray cheaper! Maybe you could make some kind of an anti-resistance skill which would make your spell brake the resintance of the monstas.
7. And here comes my greatest probleme: WHERE IS THE STORY YOU PROMISED!!!! Although I welcomed the invasion last weekend, without story drive missions Ryzom will die. I love Ryzom's world but in a months or so I will change to something else without mercy because I don't have the time and money to stay here to wait for it. Don't misunderstand it I WANT to STAY! But 13 Euros are too much money to waste and after work I need some relaxation. If I want to gain XP only, well that is something is can have for free. So you better work hard on the story!
8. Something good for fininsh: You really want to help us! That's something you don't see very often by developers!
That's all for now. I hope you see I love Ryzom, there are huge potentials in it but potential is something that doesn't make profit. It's the promises you keep that make profit.
