People, you can talk untill you're blue in the face but at the end of the day it's a computer game we're talking about and in a game people expect things to be fair.

The situation with the PR-TP's is percieved as being unfair now wether it is or not is a different question but it's never a good idea to have people feal they are being treated unfairly.

Now I know there will be (in fact some allready have...) say that every one has a choice but forcing someone to choose is almost as bad as giving them no choice at all.

If you bothered to read what people say, you'd see Jack (someone who, I assure you, has far more experience digging in PR than either you or I) explain this point to you already without resorting to childish comments and patronising the person he's talking to. I on the other hand have no compunction whatsoever about doing to you what you do to others.

*Hands Jyudas a happy play toy with no sharp edges or swallowable parts and a sandpit so he can play all day and no one will bother him* There you go, run along now and play :D

Indeed, but perhaps not the way you and Spriteh intend.
A broadening of possibilities doesn't limit anyone.
Unequal limitations affect people differently.
A change that broadens possibilities is good.
One that constricts is bad.

I don't know why that's such a difficult and slippery concept to grasp, but it seems so.

You know Jyudas, for a person as smart as you (because you certainly aint a idiot) you use alot of long and difficult sentences, patronising sentences, from OVER and DOWN sentences.

We have a politician here in norway, leading the RIGHT side party.
She is, and ive met and talked to her, probably one of the most clever people in this country. And im dead serious, her only problem is, she have, absolutely, NO CHARM, NO PART OF HER THAT MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO LISTEN. Think about that for a second.
If you would listen to her, you would realise she is insanely clever. The problem is, her whole being, MAKES YOU DISAGREE WITH HER.

Jyudas, broadening of possibilities is indeed good.
But you took a decision to play as a neutral, which makes it harder. Naturally, the factioned people has to sacrifice abilites DUE to being factioned, you are asking for BOTH kami AND karavan possibilites as a neutral, AND getting ADDITIONAL bonus'es.

Being neutral is a choice, a choice i respect alot of people for taking.
The thing is though, they dont whine about their choice's made.
OR the choices the other people make. Which you do.
(PvP'ers) You patronise them, you talk badly about them and you treat and talk to them as lesser people.

Even me, because im 18, and dont use long sentences as you do, or maybe dont understand a few of them due to being a foreigner.
I like to laugh Jyudas, and for those that know me ingame, there isnt often that I disrespect people ingame, mostly, I treat everyone as my friend.
There are the occasional exeption yes. But, mostly, I treat them respectfully.
Im maybe not as old as you, or even as educated as you.

But you know what, when I take a choice, I stand by it.
I have the backbone to do that.
Jyudas, understand the fact that neutrals and factioned alike, gets their hardship increased equally with the return of KP.
You are not alone, dont whine or cry a nerf because its been suggested, dont whine and cry a nerf until you are unfairly treaten.
Which you are not here.

So Im gonna repeat what Eddie Murphy said the best.
Have a coke and a smile and shut the fu** up. ;)

I'm sorry. You're absolutely right. I should agree with every stupid idea put before me.

I can't make suggestions as to how to make the idea better or fairer.

This is not a public forum, I do not have an opinion.

(/sarcasm)

I was saying that I liked the idea. But if it was brought in (you do know what hypothetical speaking is?) then to balance the difficulty with having to get to the pr and pass the kitin patrols every time you want to dig then tps would be needed.

Another suggestion was all tps should go. That would make everyone sit on equal footing. But instead of looking at all the options we give you just pick on one.

These are all things for GameForge to consider. If we don't tell them "Hey, bring Kitin Patrols Back" how will they know we want them? And if we don't say "Well, do that if you do this or this" how will they know there is a possible balance issue.

Neutrals should have a hard time of it, I agree. But not so hard as to make the game unplayable and unfun.

Its not Guilds that pay for and play Ryzom, its people. and even if a guild is faction aligned, it can still have neutral members.

The higher powers are set up by the Devs to not be straight good/evil. this has been accomplished by making them both flawed in some way. The game implies that the the best interests of Hominkind are not being served by EITHER side, so you have to choose the lesser evil ( tho some people embrace their favourite evil with great enthusiasm :p ) or try to find an alternative.
Neutrals are still left wandering without direction - and if there was an official Neutral side it still wouldnt make everyone happy :D
