One player wants tabs, the other new windows. Sounds like a toggle to me and everyone wins.

Who looses?
The option for both is fine with me. Rothimar said it like the windows were the worst idea ever for the tell system and I put my (countrary) view forward to defend it :)

(oh and Rothimar I play with 1280x1024 resolution if you were seriously asking ;) )

hehe The tell windows aren't the worst idea ever... just not very Rothimar friendly. ;)

We play with the same resolution... how do you manage all those little windows?? :D

My two best friends I chat with the most are in my guild ... so I'm probably doing a good arguement for having the option of windows and chat mixed in with the main chat window :)

The tell-toggle optional dual-mode chat window thingy certainly seems like it would be a great way to keep us both happy.

Of course... if everyone I talk to would simply join Covenant... then I could just use the Guild chat. *sigh* :D

I'm not guild material, but I do hold a lot of respect for the amount of work taken on by guild leaders/organisers who improve the game community.

Well, there you go. And that would be something that is relatively easy to add to the game and would give the options people want and also +1 to the polish of the game.

oooh, oooh, and the ability for my guild chat window (which I took out of the tabs for ease of reading) to stay where I put it when I log out, that would be nice too... it always defaults to the center of my screen. lol

Of course... this sort of thing might be better placed in a new thread. ;)
