That's not a fact, but your opinion, and you' re completely entitled to it.beeryusa wrote:But it is in danger of failing due to the lack of depth that dancing can help bring.
If I think that an entertainment/dancer proffession could bring extra depth, but would not solve some or all of Ryzom's problems, then that is my opinion, not a fact.
Nevrax doesn't not seem to think entertainment/dancer proffessions are essential for Ryzom's succes or continuity, or they would have added them from the start or would be working on it and be hard-pressed to release this content. That's a supposition, still not a fact.
Nevrax and it's shareholders decide which type of content is important to them and wether they listen or not to the playerbase of the game. That's a fact.
My point is, you can feel like it is important or essential to you for your gaming experience, but that alone would not change a thing. Ryzom has been around for two years so far without any of those, and it doesn't look like Nevrax have anything planned like it for a long time.
Now, if you really feel like it is THAT important to your expectations, your fun, your gaming experience then perhaps you should try to decide for yourself if Ryzom really is the game for YOU.
We all have dreams and wants we would like to see added; hell, I even made several posts on the unavailabilty of optional global pvp-flags to everyone; but it doesn't take away the fact Nevrax and their shareholders hold all the power on what will be develloped, what they see fit. Our power lies in deciding if we still would want to pay for something that lacks the one thing we crave, or not. No one's forcing you. (and I don't mean to make this sound disrespectfull)
Whatever you decide, it's your choice, your enjoyment, your money, but it's Nevrax' product and their decissions.
Remember, banging your head repeatedly into a solid brick wall doesn't make a window or door, but will eventually cause severe head traumas.
