Sure you can't change race on an existing character, but changing faction is certainly doable... Lathaniel, Sekhmet, and Keiko seemed to have no problems managing to do it. ;)
I'm not sure that changing faction does make it easier, friends get along because they are friends not because they have the same faction. Please forgive me if I am mistaken but I thought that Lathaniel, Sekhmet and Keiko changed faction for quite the opposite reason - to get away from some they found hurtful and move to oppose them.

Sure, but only in my opinion, it's up to the Zorai who they accept and who they try to turn away, not me:

If a Matis/Karavan guild has Zorai in it really makes no difference, it is still a Matis/Karavan guild. If they want to own a Zorai OP and for that to be accepted by the Zorai guilds, they really need to work hard at being friendly to them.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean 'easier to play with your friends' in the sense of getting along with each other, I was just assuming (I know I know, but I can't help it) that if the friendships mean as much as some are implying they do, they would likely want to be hunting, trekking, and doing various other things together, which would be a bit easier sharing same-faction benefits such as teleports... I assume. ;)

At any rate, it sounds like Spires are going to be an interesting addition in regards to the drama factor.

What about setup OutPost whit Fame. Guild Kami cant invite a Kara player in guild cause he kara. If i follow this logic, Kara are no suposed help Kami no? Devs doesnt allow Kara join Kami guild, but allow Kara help Kami.Just no sense to me.

Exemple:
Fame or rite can fix it, All player done the Karavan rite at temple or have more then 50 Kara fame cant clik defend on OP Kami. (i know its not perfect) just a suggestion.

Here's a novel concept.
It's an RPG.
You don't _have_ to do what you're 'told' to do. Just because the setup tells you to war, doesn't mean you have to any more than because the lore says your race is one faction or another means you have to be.

It's not a binary black/white choice.

We COULD all say 'stuff the war', occupy the outposts and share their bounty as needed, regardless of faction and reject both Kami and Karavan unifying to drive the scum (both technical and spiritual) out of the lands.

If we wanted to.

You don't HAVE to play out your _assigned_ roles, it's not a scripted acting part.

The 'purpose of the game' is to enjoy it, for as many as possible to derive the maximum enjoyment from it. That's been the problem with all this PvP linked content, some people having fun some of the time.

To the escape pods! (R2).

No, no more restrictions. Let people act as their conscience dictates. AFFECT their fame for doing so if you must, but don't restrict their choices, there's been enough of that.

In fact, let neutral guilds recruit anyone damn it, doesn't make sense to be restricted.

I'll have a go at this one as well, if you dont mind :)

It isn't simply a two-sided struggle with Karavan vs Kami, it's a very complex multi-faceted struggle between extremists, moderates and neutrals, with the nation/race and guild politics thrown in as well. A moderate karavanist may not want to see his friends and neighbours attacked by members of his own religion, and might actually be angry that his religion is being "hijacked" and twisted away from what he/she was brought up to believe. Helping the victims of these extremists retake what is "theirs" is well within bounds of RP.

in that way its going to be a real chaos, if people can do anything in game this game will never work good.

Best Exemple: One man guild can attack an OP 250 or any OP, One guy can make a new toons create a guild and attack 3-4 OP at the sametime, Just because he want that.. So Yeah we need more restriction in game.

That's really the whole point of an RPG and the whole sandbox deal. Give people the freedom to act and develop as they want to.
