Doustin and Soulnatcher had a disagreement, this should have been kept off the forum and others should not have been involved.
I don't feel it is fare picking on anyone whether they are right or wrong. Threads like this give us all a bad name; just think what a new Homin would think after reading this. I think it would be best to have this thread closed or removed; it is now way off topic.
I agree with you, Neva. Even though doustin did start this thread himself, it would have been much better if souls had deleted it immediately and taken this either to pm's or had another CSR step in to resolve this privately.

As to this thread being somewhat unfair to the player, I'd tend to agree with that too. Gurthgor isn't a bad guy if you catch him in game, but he's got a hot temper and a lot of pride - and that doesn't play well on the forums.

The idea behind leaving this thread open was and still is most definitely not to target anyone in particular - in most cases they do that themselves. It was more to show that even when criticism gets pretty fierce and opinions differ, we don't just close and hide threads - we let everyone have their say - the only exception being when things get heated and out of control, like we saw a couple of weeks ago. Indeed this thread shows how a community likes to move away from a big problem and draw itself together again and have some fun. Any issues will have been dealt with directly with anyone involved and that will always remain private. Certain statements that were made publicly and were incorrect had to be resolved publicly however, and have been way back in the first few posts of this thread and the end of one related to it that was locked.

Me certainly not.

Doustin not Dustin was called names and had his thread turned into a place where people put recipes for cakes and drinks. I would feel that people where making fun of me if this happend to one of my posts.

That is why this post should have been locked to start with. Showing views is fine as long as it dose not hurt anyone else.

i think it says a lot of positive things tbh.. everyone could have jumped in and with good reason flamed doustin, but what happened is pretty much the opposite and shows that we all (mostly) are capable of moving on and getting on with each other.

and the soulsnatcher cocktail should be definetly be stuck up on the main site somewhere :p

uhh we are all having fun here not getting on him ....If anyone wants a place to post random stuff so noone thinks were getting on Doustin then use my old "my thoughts on the KA" thread :p I wont feel bad for it to go off the original topic :P ..and then maybe no one will complain about us turning a bad post good .....jeez *sighs and goes back to work*

If you choose to directly criticize something and not listen to plain facts out on a soap box, then, you are asking for some collision. Not everyone views things the same as you do, so, be expected to get some criticism the way you delievered it. Thus, what is gone about the wrong way will end the wrong way. But if you would have actually gone about it the right way, things would have stayed good and right.

And to be honest, having a temper is no excuess. Its still actions you've done yourself.

On another note, I can't try a Soulsnatcher drink because I'm under my countries drinking age and can't find every part of that "under the counter" Haha nor do I know how to cook -_-; *grumbles*

9 pages of a pointless thread.

'poor deluded little fella' have to say that was asking for trouble

The way I see it all that was needed was to close the thread after adding a post with a link to the terms and conditions which, all players have agreed to abide by.

I think they (The GMs) did the right thing here and to see everyone still being nice (even tho off topic) shows alot for the comunity..if you don't want negative responses DON'T POST NEGITIVE THINGS simple as that have a nice night all.

Bad threads deserve to be hijacked and turned into good, fun threads. :)
