"Aqua!" I yelled as I slipped away into a gust of wind.

"Right." Aqua replied as she slammed her left foot into the sands. Waves of water shot forth form her foot print. The Dark Ones slashed through them as they ran for Aqua. I quickly appeard behind a male one and grabed his spear, but he vanished.

Luck was on my side tho, in the mist of the destoryed waves I stabbed the last male one. Sweat dirkled down my face as a vanished again, traveling in the wind was taking its toll, Aqua was growing weaker as well.

"Found you." The last female said as she found me and held her sword at my throat.

"So you can move as fast I can?" I said as I held my pike at her throat.

"One move and you die." She laughed.

"As for you." I grinned.

The sound of blades against blades filled our ear's, but I didn't dare move even my eye. The sound of moving sand, heavying breathing, and blade against blade was all I need.

"Sounds like your sister is done for." The Dark One said.

"No you are." I grinned as she was pulled away. The second I had room to move I finished her off with one swing.

"How?" She asked her body vanished.

"Me." Le'Sindo say in a firm voice form behind her.

"Like you said, I'm a theif, so I duel like one." I said as I turned away to see Aqua still dueling.

"No fair...." The Dark One said just as she vanished completly.

I quick shot a ice ball at the last dark one so Aqua could finish him. As she did I walked to the circle that enclosed the caveren.

"Here." Aqua said in a low voice as she walked up to the wall and put on her hand to it.

The wall vanished and scolls turned to sand before my eyes.

"Here I'll take us to Jen'Moda." I said as I took Aqua's hand.

"Windra we need to rest, we're pushing our bodies to far.

"I won't stop till my body falls." I said as we vanished into the wind.

The second we landed we were meet by a huge blast of wind. Everyone was fighting Dark Ones and Red was behind an energy wall. I quickly formed roots around and charged the Dark Ones; Aqua threw her daggers and charged with me.

The Dark One's had planned all of this and I must abmit they are good, but the Guardians are are always changing and together we will never fall!

... our pikes meet and a huge blast is released,It knocks me backwards but I stay on my feet. Gen-Laï charges at me again but as I got to block he stops and jumps backwards,I run towards him but he blast me with ice and electric. "ahh" I yell as I am thrown backwards..."HA!" He yell as he dissapears then reapears right in front of me. "Take this La'beka!" He shouts as he goes to stab me.I jump to the side and try to slash him,But he brings his pike up and blocks.

"Not bad La'beka." he says as he jumps back away from me and faces me.

"hm" I say as I smirk at him.

"You won't be smiling for long." He says as he smirks back at me.

He charges, as I goto block he disapears and re-aprears behind me.I jump strait up out of the way .. "Fool now you die!" He shouts as he holds his pike towards me hoping to get me on my way down. But I blast him with fire.He jumps out of the way and as I land he blast me with a wave of ice and electric.I fall to the ground,He jumps up and comes down with his pike...I roll out of the way just in time and his pike stabs deep into the sand...I try to slash him but he blocks with a small shield on his left arm.

"Well done La'beka." he says as I jump back and he stands up.

"You fight well." I say as I wipe the sweat from my forehead.

I charge him,but he blocks with his shield and and slashes me with his pike.

"Ahh" I yell as I stumble back.

"You should be more careful La'beka." He says laughing...then he ports behind me and slashes my back..."AHHH!!" I yell as I fall foreword to the ground...He goes to slash again but I spin around and block him,As I do I change my pike into fire and blast him backwords... he stumbles back and I charge him... I swing but he sidesteps quickly to his left and slashes my right arm... I stumle back ... "YAA!!!" I shout as he runs towards me and I launch my dragon blast...

"Nice try La'beka." I hear from behind me.Then I feel a sharp pain in my back......

...at the same time my fight starts with Gen-Laï,the others begin to fight the dark ones out side the wall....

"Time to die Syno!" A dark one says as he charges Syno with 2 daggers in his hands...

"Not quite" Syno says as he forms two white short blades(thick from blade to the back of the blade) with yellow Kami markings on the side of the blades. He begins to duel the dark one ... at the same time Windra starts to duel his dark one ...

"you can't win!" He shouts seeing that Windra is tired... Aqua steps up next to Windra and her dark one comes up next to Windra's.They charge and begin to battle... Windra does a quick dive to one side and launches a blast of wind wich makes one of the dark ones fall back.. but he regains his footing.

"Do you two really think you can win?" one of the dark ones say laughing.

"We will win!" Windra shouts.As he blast him with wind again and charges at him with his pike....

Jen'moda and Le'conda were fighting aswell...And seemed to be winning...meanwhile...Tin-si faced his dark one and drew out his weapon...A staff with blue karavan markings on it...It flowed with electric ... the dark one drew forth his sword and charged him...Tin-si side steeped and tripped the dark one with his staff,but as he went to hit him the dark one vanished,then appeared behind him...

"You always have fought like cowards." Tin-si said as he spun around and blocked the dark ones attack and counters with a blast of electric.

"You may have learned some Kami magic but it wont save you." The dark one says as he ports out of the way.then runs at him to attack again...

Meanwhile...

"You can't beat me Syno!" The dark one shouts at Syno.

"Don't be so sure"Syno says as he attacks... The dark one ports behind him and tries to stab him but Syno side steps and slashes the dark one all in one motion,the dark one stumbles forward then turns and blast Syno with his magic... Syno falls backwards but gets up quickly,the dark one slashed him in the side as he got up and Syno stumbled back... then suddenly Syno heard yell ... one with pain in it... he turned to see me fall to my knees...

"Red!" Everyone yelled as we saw Gen-Laï slash Red's back.

"They just keep coming...I...can't get to....agh...the barrier." Le'Conda said in between attacks.

I gazed around, she was right, when one Dark One died another took it's place. They weren't even homin, they were puppets.

"Windra what do we do?!" Jen'Moda cried as she shot down two more Dark Ones only to see two appear.

"I have an idea....what if I use the power of the siren?" Aqua asked in a low voice.

We fell silent, the power of the siren was a song that could bring any being to their knees in pain. I looked at Red's who was still fighting then back the others.

"Aqua do it, we won't be affected!" Snyo yelled as slashed another dark one.

A sweet, enchanting, almost goddess like filled the area. It was a song that was beyond words, it had no words just this call. I looked over to see Aqua was kneeling as if she was praying.

"Arrrgh!" The Dark Ones screamed as they twisted and turned, they couldn't move, or attack only twist in pain.

"Le'Conda your sword and dagger can cut through anything cut down the barrier quick!" Snyo yelled as she shot the Dark Ones.

"Right." She said as she ran up to the wall and slammed them into it, but she couldn't get them to cut all the way. So Jen'Moda got behind her and helped push the daggers through the barrier.

"Red hold on!" I cried as I ran to see if their was an object of somekind that formed the wall. Aqua wouldn't last long she was already weak and my body weakening as well.

I looked to see how Red was doing, he was holding his ground but he couldn't land a attack.

"Windra hurry!" Jen and Le'Conda boomed.

I dashed to were they were, they were almost done cutting a hole in the wall, just a few more inches. I then felt a homin fell to the sands and the singing stopped.

"Got it!!" Le'Conda cheered.

"Go help Red, I'll protect Aqua!" I boomed as I ran to Aqua's side.

"Alright Syno and Tin-si." Said as they followed Jen and Le'Conda through the opening.

My blade clashed with several other swords, spears, pikes, maces, verything. I was able to block several but I took a few minor cut to the side and arms. I felt one major blow to my left eye area then everything went red, then black as I think I fell onto Aqua.

Gen-Laï see's the others coming towards us and blast them all back with a huge blast of wind... "No!" I yell as I try to stay on my feet... He turns to me and stabs me in the chest with his pike ... "Just die already." He said as he did.

"No!! RED!!" Syno shouts as he gets back on his feet. Tin-si runs quickly to my side but Gen-Laï steps between us and slashes him... Tin-si falls to the ground...Syno looks back to see Windra fall to the ground aswell... Le'conda charges Gen-Laï ... "No wait Le'conda!" Syno shouts but its to late,Gen-Laï sidesteps quickly and stabs her in the back... she falls hard on the ground ... Jen'moda forms a large rifle and blast at him with a huge green and yellow blast,but Gen-Laï just blocks it...then ports next to her and goes to slash her...

"NO!" Syno shouts as he jumps in the way and blocks the attack.then steps back ...his weapons disappear and he forms one large sword with the same markings and color as his two blades.

Jen falls to the ground unconscious .. completely worn out from the battle.

"So Syno I will get the honor in killing you how nice..." Gen-Laï says with a grin..."Its over Syno just accept it."

"It is not over Gen-Laï." Syno says as he prepares to fight...

"All the guardians are defeated... Give it up you old fool."Gen-Laï says laughing.

"You may have won the first round ...But i'm still standing... And its not over yet." Syno replies as his sword starts to glow.

"fool" Gen-Laï says as he charges at Syno,Syno blocks and tries to counter but Gen-Laï is just to fast and he moves out of the way of Syno's attack.Syno launches a blast but Gen-Laï ports behind him and blast him,Syno stumbles forward but regains his balance and turns around just in time to block.Gen-Laï comes up and hits Syno with the handle of his pike then tries to slash,but Syno side steps quickly and tries to slash back.Gen-Laï Blocks this with his shield on his arm and quickly counters and stabs Syno in the side.

"Ahh" Syno yells as he stumbles back...

"I told you that you cannot win." Gen-Laï says laughing."is that the best you got?"

Syno falls down on one knee with his sword in his right hand stabbed into the ground...

Soon they were riding across the litthe road like beach which was connecting
Windemeer with the land. The Izam's and Messab's were roaming the little lake
area as they use to and soon they were greated by a little herd of Yubos whom
had a stop where the plateu into Windemeer began. As they came closer the
Yubosmoved out of the way as they did not wanted to get stepped on by misstake,
even the mounts wer catious of the little ones.

As they approached the stables Banestar eagerly let her eye travel across the
small town looking for something, but it was as calm and tranquil as usual.
She and Drakfot umounted their Mektoubs and tied their leashes to the wooden
bars and payed a small sum to the stable boy to care for them while they were
away. The looked around a bit but could see no signs of any commotion or such so
they decided to approach a local guard in the matter.

"Exscuse me, have you heard of any struggle or commotion around here?" Drakfot
ppolietly asked a passing guard.

He stopped and removed his helmet, it was a sign of courtesy for some to be able
to have a conversation facing eachother.

"No, I am sorry ma'am. I just got here from Crystabell. Some of us were summoned
there due to a fight that seemed to be out of hand. But as I got there there
were nothing left for us to do." He said calmly.

"I see, well we do have an inquery about this too. Did you hear anything about
any wounded Homins during this battle?" Drakfot asked knowing that it could
provide some answers.

"Well, strange thingh is that it seems as many saw some sort of lights and all.
But no one seems to have seen the actual fight, only the lights and well the
mess that was left behind it." He replied dutifully, but one could tell that he
himself were confused about it. " So well, there were not much for us to do
there but to see to that the Homins around were safe and sound and then return
to our duties here. I am sorry ma'am."

He excused himself and put his helmet back on and joined his friends a bit off
by the windmill. Drakfot looked at Banestar whom were merely looking back with
distant eyes. She made a small effort to smile at Drakfot before she fell
forward. Drakfot took a quick step forward and catched her, she were exhausted.

"My friend, how long since you last ate?" Drakfot asked Banestar as she helped
her back on her feets while gicing her support.

"I don't know.. I can't remember when I last did that." Banestar replied still
being a bit distant and trying to focus her eyes on Drakfot and the ground.

"You must have something to eat my friend, you are in a rather bad shape."
Drakfot said urged her.

"But.. I have to .. know" Banestar repied knowing that she was too weak to
continue if she held this up.

"Please come this way,there is a place nearby where we can have some food and
something to drink." Drakfot said as she walked towards the local pub while
holding Banestar.

They moved along the bridge from the beach to the central area then to take a
short right heading to the local pub there. Well there they ordered something to
eat and a drink. Even though she would not admit it openly Banestar ate with
great hunger as she had almost totally forgotten herself thelast few days, and
whom could blame her thinking of what she had been through and still was going
through. Drakfot smiled at her as she watched her eating with eager and it
seemed as after the first bite she remembered the good taste of food.
Just moments later she had fininshed her dish while Drakfot was just about
halfway through hers, and was sipping on the drink.

"Did it taste well my friend?" Drakfot asked smiling once more.

"Yes, it was delicious. I didn't know that I was that hungry. Then again I
cannot remember when I last ate either." Banestar replied with more energy.

"I thought so, you seem to have regained some of your energy already." Drakfot
was now almost finished with her food and had a sip of the messab milk.

"Perhaps we should see if we can find the local messenger here and see if he has
heard of anything after we are finished." Banestar said with a decided look.

Drakfot nodded as she finished her drink and so did also Banestar. As they
gathered the glasses and the plates they walked towards the beach again in other
to see if they could find the messenger.

"It be quite strange that many, or everyone, has seen the lights and the
remains. But that no one have seen the battle itself." Drakfot said as they
walked along the bridge.

"I don't know but I have at times felt that Redslayer is different, not in bad
way, but there has been somethings that have made me wonder." Banestar said
staring at the ground as if she was focusing on finding memories. "I think you
are right, he is out there somewhere. I can feel it."

I felt everyone fall, it was a pain that stuck my soul to the core. We are the guardains of Atys how could we fall?! I'm not sure how but some how I was able to get to my feet, as did Windra.

The moment Windra gain some of his balance he felt a pain in my left eye, blood was rolling down my cheek. We held on to eachother for supports as we walked to the hole in the barrier. I feared the worest for my brother, he had to cover his eye to stop the bleeding.

The Dark Ones that were watching the battle quickly turned to us and almost charged at us, but they stopped and let us walk on. We had no energy to fight anyway. I think they found it amuzing to watch us suffer greatly as we walked towards the opening.

I lost balance and fell to my knee's when we were in front of the opening. The Dark Ones laughed at the sight. With the last of my strenght I pushed us into the dueling area. I quickly slammed my hand onto the wall and closed the opening.

"Jena...Ma-Duk....Give the power of the guardians to Syno so he may stop this Dark One." Windra prayed before he past out.

I did the same pray as I laid my brother on the sands. As a warm feeling past over my body as I saw Syno fall to his knee sword in and sand.

"Syno finish him, the power of the guardians are with you!" I boomed, sadly that took that last of my energy and I fated as well.

This is Syno's battle now.

...As I lay on my back I think to myself "What now? .. I've failed everyone ... I failed Aqua... I hope the others are ok ..." then I pass out...


"Bah,This can't be." Syno thinks to himself.

"So Syno you ready to die?" Gen-Laï says laughing.

"Never!" Syno yells as he tries to fight again.

Gen-Laï blocks with his pike then blast Syno backwards...Syno gets back up quickly and launches a blast of his own,but Gen-Laï just blocks it with his shield,then runs at Syno and tries to slash him with his pike...Syno sidesteps and tries to counter attack,but Gen-Laï jumps out of the way...Syno runs towards him again and swings his sword but Gen-Laï dodges,then comes around and tries to slash Syno but he parry's.

"Not bad Syno."Gen-Laï says suprized...Syno attacks again,he slashes but Gen-Laï blocks it then hits Syno with the handle of his pike,Syno stumbles back and Gen-Laï slashes him,Syno falls to the ground,But gets back up....

"Still not going to give up I see." Gen-Laï says.

"Never." Syno Says out of breath.

"Die!" Gen-Laï shouts as he attacks again...Syno blocks but is knocked backwards... Gen-Laï comes around with another slash and Syno blocks again,then Gen-Laï hits Syno's blade with the back side of his pike knocking it to the side and slashes Syno again,Syno falls to the ground...

"Its over Syno,Your life ends here."Gen-Laï says as he walks towards Syno.

Then suddenly Gen-Laï hears a huge explosion and turns to see the wall destroyed in a 25m area."What the?" Gen-Laï says as the dust starts to clear.

"Syno!!!" An echo sounding voice shouts..."We are here!" A womans voice shouts.

Out of the dust comes Le'Cusï and Ra'oki... then Te'Haï comes in and grabs Aqua and Windra."Get the Red and Syno!" Te'Haï shouts as he ports away.

"I don't think so."Gen-Laï says as he stands between Syno and Le'Cusï...

"Red,I got you." Ra'oki says as she grabs ahold of me."Le'Cusï,Can you handle the rest?" She shouts.

"Yes go!" Le'Cusï shouts back...The Ra'oki nods and ports away.

"What a fool... they may have escaped but you and Syno will not."Gen-Laï says annoyed...Syno stands back up slowly..."Le'Cusï you are here..."Syno says out of breath and hurt badly.

"So Le'Cusï,You Ready to die?"Gen-Laï says as he raises his pike...

"Not today." Le'Cusï says as he forms a large 2h mace with the markings of the Kami on its handle,and grips it with all four of his hands.

"Interesting..."Gen-Laï says as he prepares for battle...

...Le'Cusï Stares at Gen-Laï ... Then Gen-Laï charges "DIE SCUM!" he shouts as he swings...Le'Cusï blocks,then swings his mace,Gen-Laï attempts to block but as the Mace hits his Pike it knocks him backwards...Le'Cusï slams him mace into the ground wich launches a huge shockwave that blows Gen-Laï backwards... "Gah! You fool!" Gen-Laï shouts as he runs towards Le'Cusï...Le'cusï smashes his mace into the ground again,sending another shockwave along the ground ... But Gen-Laï jumps over it and comes down with a slash ... Le'Cusï dodges and hits Gen-Laï with his mace,Gen-Laï flies backwards into the cliff wall...

"Bah! No more games!" Gen-Laï shouts as he gets back to his feet.

"Syno go now!"Le'Cusï shouts.

"I don't have the energy to port... go ..leave me." Syno says as he falls to his knees.

"Syno!... I will help you ..." Tin-si says as he stumbles up to Syno.

"You're alive!" Syno says as Tin-si helps him up..

"Go !!!" Le'Cusï shouts....they nod and port away just as a blast hits where they were standing...

"Bah,I missed." Gen'Laï says as he looks at Le'Cusï..."You will not get away so easy!"

Gen-Laï charges at Le'Cusï,Le'Cusï tries to block but Gen-Laï ports behind him and stabs him with his pike... Le'Cusï turns and faces Gen-Laï ... "What?!" Gen-Laï says as Le'Cusï swings his mace as if the stab didn't even effect him...Gen-Laï dodges and stabs Le'Cusï again but Le'Cusï just keeps fighting...

"How?!?!" Gen-Laï shouts.

"You fool you should know your enemy ... As living part of Atys I cannot be killed by normal weapons."Le'Cusï says.

"hmmm...So be it."Gen-Laï says... "Well try this out!!" He shouts as he blast Le'Cusï... Le'Cusï dodges the blast and his mace fades away...in its place he forms a pike,with the same markings as the mace..."Ok enough." Gen-Laï says as his pike starts to glow brightly..

"What?" Le'Cusï says as he moves back some.

"Thats right ... You're not as safe as you thought fool." Gen-Laï says with a grin..."Prepare to DIE!"

Le'Cusï dodges the first swing and blocks the second,then he tries to stab Gen-Laï but he blocks and then slashes one of Le'Cusï 's arms ... Le'Cusï counters and slashes Gen-Laï across the face...

"Ahh!" Gen-Laï shouts as he stumbles back and holds his face,there is a cut from the middle of his forehead down across his nose and under his left eye to his cheek ... He takes his hand away from his face and looks at it ...his hand is covered with blood..."You...You will pay!" He shouts as he attacks again.Le'Cusï flies up over Gen-Laï as he tries to attack and slashes him across his back...

"Gah!" Gen-Laï shouts annoyed...then he ports and slashes Le'Cusï,Le'Cusï falls to the ground ... But he gets back up... as he does he turns and launches a blast at Gen-Laï ... but he ports behind Le'Cusï and slashes him again ... Le'Cusï falls again.

"Ah ... I found it very strange that you were stronger then Syno,But I see now you're not... you're only a bit faster and resist normal weapons..." Gen'Laï says with a grin...

"As long as the guardians live,You will never control Atys."

"Don't be so sure... huh?"Gen-Laï says as Le'Cusï slowly fades away."Hmmmmm ... Well I guess I shall go now then."He says as he ports away.

Cin'Lone watched in fear from the garden fountain as everyone returned covered in blood and dirt. The Guardians were even worse, clothes and armor ruined, wounds of all kind, it was a nightmare for her.

"Te'Haï where is Windra, I only saw his sister? Please what happned?" Cin'Lone cried.

"He's in the hotspring best you go see him, he suffered a injury and I don't think the others are ready to find out what it is. What happen...we'll tell you later." Te'Haï said in a low voice but Cin'Lone was already gone before he finished.

She paid no attion to the others in the grand hallway she had to see Windra.

"Windra!" She cried as she slammed open the spring doors. The sent of healing herbs filled her noise, he was here.

"Over here." I said with a wave from under the falls,

"Oh sweet Jena...Windra what happned." She cried as she ran into the springs and up to me.

"It's nothing, how are the others?" I asked trying to avoid her gaze.

"Better then you, Le'Conda has minor wounds, Jen'Moda was hit in the chest pretty hard, Aqua is very weak, and Red has several slash wound.....but your eye." She expalined before she reached up to touch the bloody bandage that cover my eye.

"Windra hold still." She said as she placed her left hand over my wound. A shock of pain ripped through my body when her hand touched it.

"Please hold still." She replied.

"I'm trying, there's to much pain." I whimpered as I tried to slip away.

"Hold still." She said again as she used her free hand to pin me to the falls. The tingle of a heal spell fell over my body when she began to chant, I could feel my body turning to liquid.

"Just a bit more." She said as he removed my bandage and let go of my body. The second my body was free I slid into the deep part of the springs.

Cin'Lone quickly grabbed me and propped me up agaisnt the rim of the springs and placed the bandage on the grass.

"Windra....your eye." Cin'Lone whimpered.

"I know." I replied as I splashed spring water on my face.

"Windra have you looked at your eye." Cin'Lone asked as she moved away.

"Why I'm blind in this eye, yet I can still see aura's." I said as I looked at the water, the area around my left eye was a mess of blood and a huge slash wound.

She was right what was with my eye, it wasn't gray or glassy, in fact it was the same as my other?

I fell against the rim of the spring and began to cry. Cin'Lone came over to me and held me tight.

"I'm blind in my left eye...what have I done." I cried.

"Windra if you were blind I would know, but your eye isn't showing signs of loss of sight." Cin'Lone said in a warm voice.

"I can't see anything out of it!" I snapped.

"Windra you said you could see aura's tho?" She asked me.

"Yeah, but I could always see a persons aura." I said as held her closer. I couldn't stop crying.

"Windra you only lost have your part of your sight, your guardian spirit must have saved your sight." Cin'Lone said as she ran her hand over my tattoos.

"Windra I'm sorry I could only save your sight to see what an untrained eye can't see." Le'Sindo said in a low voice as he appeared behind me.

"I'm very gratful Le'Sindo but how can I face my friends and the others!" I cried.

"Don't worry Windra...This the begining of a grand step forward for you. Now rest." Le'Sindo said as he began to meditiate.

"Sleep Windra." Cin'Lone said in a sweet voice as I fell asleep in her arms, I didn't even care that I was still in the springs.
