Re: You ugly sand-maggots!
Thanks guys, I am grateful for the warm welcome.
Teamed with Zahan and Nightblade the other evening, and we had a good time. To bad my LA colours didn't fool the Kinchers, thought I would look like a Gratcha. Guess they could smell me out hehe.
Looking forward to a long and permanent stay with my "new" friends. Already find myself thinking, whooa.. should have done this a long time ago.
But then again, better late than never. Wisdom after all, never comes easy

*cough* *mutters darkly* I was _just_ trying to get her to take her clothes off for the crowd!mehanson wrote:Just be sure you're ready to run screaming from the Truculent Trykerette Trio! Those two have a tendancy to get themselves on the wrong side of certain very cute Trykerettes weilding very big and very sharp instruments of bodily destruction.
Hang on, that came out wrong...
*chuckles* glad you had fun! thats the ideakarmelit wrote:Thanks guys, I am grateful for the warm welcome.

Re: You ugly sand-maggots!
Through a swirling, glittering mass of silver and purple, the continuing barrage of spells can be seen. All around there are bodies of the fallen, some known friends - other comrades of arms by happenstance. Now and then healing energies engulf the homins lying in the ground only to be interrupted by angry flames of green, blue and red.
I can feel the life slowly seeping into ground beneath me, like the flow of the sand through the narrow in a glass. Trying to clutch into the last remaining drops of the warmth I suddenly feel a new life energy flowing through me. Maybe due fate or panic I say the short chant invoking the spell protection tearing the first teleporting pact that I found from my pocket as the darkness engulfs me.
I feel a tearing sensation like something once important and integral for my being tearing away. Suddenly in the black stasis I sense a wordless question, Do you want to return?
A glittering vision like the after effects of a najab skin dream fills my eyes. Slowly as the eyes gain more focus, I can see the ball of light shining through the ground surrounded by the glitter. As I manage with some effort to get my vision under some measure of control I realize that the hole to the ground letting through the sky. Lakelands I hear the whispers of my returning consciousness, I must be somewhere in lakelands, before the comforting blackness takes me again into its embrace.
As I wake up again I have a hazy recollection of what happened before rifling through the pacts, not stopping into any place for long, the overworked brain looking for refuge in somewhere. Something deep inside keeps whispering me that all the homins have been betrayed by the cosmic power struggle between the powers that are. Disillusionment hits me like a fist clad in hardened armour. Are we but mindless pawns in a power game that no one really can understand?
Suddenly I realize I am not alone anymore as a very serious looking face surrounded by patches of turquoise peers down on me. Are you alright? asks a very serious voice. After a moments hesitation I managed to say, No - Im not alright. I spend that night chatting with Lyma - the name the Tryker girl says is hers. As we talk, I feel more and more drawn together with her and her habit of being deep and then suddenly bursting into spontaneous laughter and merriment gives me some solace from being lost - both losing my faith and maybe even those, whom I once called friends.
As the weeks pass, I realize that I need to lifes made for living after all. I could spend all my time here in the beach with Lyma of course, but one cannot get by forever on limited supply of dappers. How would you feel if I put myself for hire? I ask her one night. Like a mercenary or so, you mean? she asked. Aye I nod.
About a week later, a travel-stained figure arrives in the door of a guildhall in Pyr. After a firm knock, a door opens. Hello, I go by name of Lwiz
- I would like to join the family.
