As a guild member and leader you have stated simple explanations on how you guys act. Pretty much your folks have all been consistant with that here too, which doesn't apply to several of the other guilds. I don't think there is anyone here that doesn't want everyone playing SoR to enjoy it... I'll post my stance (personal and guild: VeniVidiVici) on the situation, completely out of character...maybe some of these are similar with the views of others:
- We stand for Unity and helping people in the game. Helping someone understand parts of the game or helping them out leaves a lasting impression and effect that ripples allowing them to spread knowledge of the game or sway them to help others in a similar fashion.
- My stance on this silly warring of factions is NEUTRAL. PvP is not my fancy, hence the reason I am more for helping people out. However should there be a PvP event with faction vs faction, of course I will be present and possibly participate given the nature of the event.
- We are a KARAVAN ALIGNED GUILD. We reprimand members for running Kami missions and make sure that all potential members know we are Karavan aligned. However since we believe in helping people, we do not shun the Kami or Karavan followers, rather we shun individuals or guilds based on their actions.
- We are Karavan aligned NOT because of beliefs or roleplay, but because of convenience. Period. Should our guild have been born out of Zorai, we would be Kami because of convenience. (Convenience meaning we can't really play the game without choosing a side without being completely isolated from the rest of Atys.)
- Obviously we are not hardcore roleplayers, but we are about 50/50.
- I do not differentaite RP actions vs non-RP actions in the game. If you or your guild does something unfavorable with us, don't expect that you will jump on our good side with an "oh we were just having RP fun, but now we're not RPing anymore" claim. Actions within the game are actions in the game, period. Outside of the game is outside of the game...maybe I will be friendly there. :0)
- I don't expect myself or my guildmates to be held free from harm in PvP areas. We know they are PvP, we know that there are people utilizing those zones to roleplay their conflicts. Sure we ask that you don't slaughter us in those zones, but we don't expect it. Just don't expect us to be favorable to you from repeated negative actions. :0)
- Because of our beliefs in helping out as many people as we can, and not being a PvP guild, regardless of your faction orientation you can feel assured we will try and help you out in ANY zone and won't attack you. Of course there's exceptions such as vengeance against someone who's attacked an individual member first.

however when something bad comes along, such as pvp which i might add has been part of the game since i heard about it over a year ago, you whine and complain about it and then claim neutrality
see that is also what most guilds are doing. i'd be fine with you if you said "yes we're a karavan guild but we don't want to participate in pvp" however you are saying "we're only karavan when it suits our needs and when something bad happens we're neutral"
