People charging any conditions before they revive others are out of their minds i my humble opinion *next is copy of same reply i made on the other reviving thread http://ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9989 *:

Just concentrating on the 1st post, for al the time i have been playing Ryzom, from April open beta into closed beta and now retail, reviving people was an unwritten etiquette law, you see a dead person, you res, simple as that.

Now during April ope beta and most or actually all of closed beta time there wasnt even a death penaty, just politeness to res.

Now theres a death penalty added i think reviving people as an unwritten etiquette rule is even more important, not to speak about evets where you always res everyone so they can keep being part of the event.

Theres only one new addition to Ryzom gameplay i wonder what to do with reviving, and that is pvp areas and guild pvp battles, still you can have a broad discussion whether or not to revive a guildteam that lost the guild pvp battle, actually, if id fight guild pvp and win, id feel like i need to res the losing team out of politeness, then again, other people might not think the same.
