Happened in internal medicine too.
Shoot me a tell in game, aldrikoy. I'm Fyros too, and usually don't venture out of Imperial Dunes. Names in game are either Zuko or Hammersmith.
Doctor Z.

This seems pretty obvious to me as well. I dont trust either fully.

It seems to me, and quite a few others that have shared these muses with me that we are LAB RATS.
I dont know about lab-rats
but I think we are being held down by them for some unknown reason. My guess would be more along the lines of being between Kami and Karavan.
I bet the Karavan want something Atys offers, and the Kami are defending whatever that is. They are both using us as an indirect means of getting what they want.

Take the Goo outbreaks...If the Kami OR Karavan were TRULY as concerned about these as they CLAIM to be. Would they NOT have sent out scouts and their OWN warriors, sages and harvesters to solve the issue.
I fully believe the Karavan have more than enough technology to completely destroy Atys if there wasnt something they wanted out of it.
I fully believe the Kami could also get rid of the goo if they wanted, but are testing us to see where our alliances stand.

Personally I do think that the Kitin, the GOO and another unnamed but equally dangerous menace COULD be attacked by the Kami and Karavan...if they were so motivated. I don't believe them when they spout out about their sincere and earnest concern for US and Atys.
Sounds about right to me.

Afterall, WHO among you believes that the Kami and Karavan BOTH can not leave Atys with the wave of a hand?? If this is true...why would they even CARE about OUR world?? If the threat becomes too serious to them and the end is immenent, they would port out. Just because we don't have access to off planet areas does not mean that they do not.
They both want something the planet offers.

The Unnamed menace I speak of I have personally SEEN, In green areas, look for yourself. There are areas where the LUSH and fertile green is not so strong, as if Atys herself were SICK and dying. The green turns BROWN...
I dont think the game is that complex yet. Especially considering you can easily turn flowers etc. off to speed up graphic performance.

I believe that the dragon will someday awaken and destroy the planet, but only when the sequel is released and there isnt sufficient interest in the original game anymore to justify the maintenance of the servers.
Until then, I dont think it will die.

This game seems to be on the fine line between total success and complete failure. High risks involved with every change and a horrible fate if they dont change quickly and without error. They have to think faster than they can move and move faster than the fastest player, and if ever they introduce error or shift the balance too rapidly, all comes crashing down. I liken their development team to a high-wire stunt-devil running across a thin wire which is 10 stories up with the threat of being shot if they arent quick enough.
But then, thats what you get when you dont fully realize that MMORPG development is the most costly and risky venture you could possibly find in the gaming industry
and releasing before it was finished is obviously something I think will scar what could have been flawless for years to come.

i am a little confused... so did cerest post these BUGS before or after they patched the servers and let everyone play them? I am just in shock if they knew about the bugs already and still patch the servers like that... unless they got their info from players AFTER the servers went up...

I see what you mean.
About the "blight" as I call it, it is there, regardless of microvegitation settings, off on 10% or 100% it is still there.
I think you are Spot on about the Karavan wanting something IN or on Atys and the Kami are protecting IT. I am also sure if the goo got to the point where IT...whatever that is...was in genuine danger...they could, and more than likely WOULD defend IT, the world...maybe...IT...definately.
Could this IT be something deeper than the prime roots? I honestly do NOT think that the Fyrosian elder miners even got CLOSE to the Atysian core. So there is MUCH below the Prime Roots. WHAT that might be...I surely don't know. My mine wonders into flights of fancy when I think on it.
I DO know that much technology and knoweldge was lost, in the fires, the kitin wars, and in the traveling about. WHERE and how we will rediscover this...I don't know. But I DO know I want to help find it.
The Lab rat feeling is from the Watching and waiting nature of both Kami and Karavan. Having cheesed up more than ONE rat maze in my learning days...the correlation was easy for me. Might be hard to see the glasses and pocket protectors on the two of them if you haven't been the recorder of rat motions before.

In light of reading other posts, Ive come to the conclusion that the team developing this game are, indeed, amateurs. That explains a lot. I just hope they become professional enough soon enough to keep this game alive.
The drop-out rate for this game seems astronomical!

I posted this theory before and I am still believe it to be true.
I think Jena and the Karavan were actually at some sort of war with other beings. They were in persuit of another space ship, got near Atys and attacked it. As it crashed down to the planet the inhabitants looked up and saw a green object with wings and fire comming out of it. Never having seen a space ship before they automatically think its a living creature, they think it's a dragon. The "dragon" crashes deep into the center of the planet. Quickly seeing the possibilty of survivors escaping Jena sends the Karavan down to seal off all exits to the roots and creates laws that forbid anyone from attempting to investigate. The Karavan report back that the planet is rich in resources and Jena orders them to get the homins to harvest resources for the Karavans use. As the homins have never seen technology they assume Jena and the Karavan are gods.
The other theory I have is that we homins were what was on the ship. The Karavan came down to the planet after them but it was too late as the survivors scattered deep into the various areas of the planet. Not wanting the survivors to return to thier ship the Karavan blocks off all entrances to the roots. As time went on the survivors eventually learned to live on Atys as if it was their home. Even reproducing with some of the native species on the planet (the Gibbai, Fryhars, and Cutes). As generations passed knowledge of their true origin was lost. The native tribes would tell their offspring stories of a green dragon falling to Atys.

This one makes sense to me since the story says that we rode to Atys on the dragon and that the dragon tricked us into coming in the first place from our old home.
So maybe the Karavan just relocated homins for some unknown reason.

Another one bites the dust, I guess you could say. Ive given up on this game because I cant make useless objects to do useless things with because the majority of people deem them as useless. I fail to see a worthwhile story (or any story) unfolding, but thats understandable considering the sheer number and severity of bugs and missing features.
I cant justify paying for a game that isnt finished, no matter how much potential it may have.
The community is top-notch, much more mature and better debaters than any others Ive seen, but that isnt enough to make up for bugs, missing features, lack of a story, and me not being able to make a bloody chair or even sit in one. It doesnt feel like an RPG at all it feels like a fantasy action game, which is fun for a while but not my cup of tea.
Adios, its been fun!
