This seems pretty obvious to me as well. I dont trust either fully.
lyrah68 wrote:It seems to me, and quite a few others that have shared these muses with me that we are LAB RATS.
I dont know about lab-rats
but I think we are being held down by them for some unknown reason. My guess would be more along the lines of being between Kami and Karavan.
I bet the Karavan want something Atys offers, and the Kami are defending whatever that is. They are both using us as an indirect means of getting what they want.
lyrah68 wrote:Take the Goo outbreaks...If the Kami OR Karavan were TRULY as concerned about these as they CLAIM to be. Would they NOT have sent out scouts and their OWN warriors, sages and harvesters to solve the issue.
I fully believe the Karavan have more than enough technology to completely destroy Atys if there wasnt something they wanted out of it.
I fully believe the Kami could also get rid of the goo if they wanted, but are testing us to see where our alliances stand.
lyrah68 wrote:Personally I do think that the Kitin, the GOO and another unnamed but equally dangerous menace COULD be attacked by the Kami and Karavan...if they were so motivated. I don't believe them when they spout out about their sincere and earnest concern for US and Atys.
Sounds about right to me.
lyrah68 wrote:Afterall, WHO among you believes that the Kami and Karavan BOTH can not leave Atys with the wave of a hand?? If this is true...why would they even CARE about OUR world?? If the threat becomes too serious to them and the end is immenent, they would port out. Just because we don't have access to off planet areas does not mean that they do not.
They both want something the planet offers.
lyrah68 wrote:The Unnamed menace I speak of I have personally SEEN, In green areas, look for yourself. There are areas where the LUSH and fertile green is not so strong, as if Atys herself were SICK and dying. The green turns BROWN...
I dont think the game is that complex yet. Especially considering you can easily turn flowers etc. off to speed up graphic performance.
lyrah68 wrote:If our Mother DIES...well you understand my worries.
I believe that the dragon will someday awaken and destroy the planet, but only when the sequel is released and there isnt sufficient interest in the original game anymore to justify the maintenance of the servers.
Until then, I dont think it will die.
