Thats unfair, they should have taken the root spawns off everyone.
However I think that movement on the surface for a single player should be about skill not blanket walls of aggro that requires then a team to all want to go exploring in that direction at the same time. If you have been to matis on arispotle recently you wont see many homins around except for low level 14 day trialists, so getting teams together isnt easy.
First off, 'Getting' those spawn points weren't very hard. There's a few kinchers at openings but largely it's an open road if you've died enough there. Except for a few people who just started, a majority of you 'chose' not to go down there. Just like I 'choose' not to spend endless hours in BB getting to tryker. That's my fault...I guess.
Considering I've found huge deposits of mitexi and oath bark, dante sap, eyota, two spots for big shell, all excellent (getting my supreme 500M track on tonight) last night ALL SAFE in a THREE AND A HALF HOUR period, I'm really not to upset being stuck in the jungle.
People are just to scared to hit pr. I've been runnign there since I was level 20. Eventually I knew my way around the PR to the point where mats were like zzei said, supreme grinders. I only died a lot because certain things like mortega wood were heavily guarded.
And what do you think skill is? 100 meter spans where a najab has to be 80m over range in order to see you? I've dodged 20+ cutes on my 50M compass in a moving maze and got to my desination. backing up, turning, sprinting and strafing for 5-20 minutes. Plarfman and I were in umbra fixing to find our way into a grove of mortega and hash amber surrounded by najab, gibbai and kincher. Several points we got close, and several times we found that we missed our Que. Coulda got in but we thought we saw a gibbai coming from another direction only to have it stop since we weren't aware it had made it's little route.
edit: wanted to mention that during this time we
should have died several times as najab walked 7-10 meters from us but weren't facing our direction. It was ballsy and we had a blast.
DP can be worked off. Especially fast for us harvesters. Some of us have the cajones to get out there and harvest. Yeah we're at a point where you won't likely get experience while you get your supremes, that's because this game IS about skill, and those mats are worth the effort it takes to build and implement that skill. It's NOT about wide open sweeps with people hording their stupid little secrets in areas a level 50 harvester with an exellent prospect can find. I happily tell my friends about the mats I find cuz chances are, with the skill it takes now, only one of us is gonna get in. A bundle of 99 supremes goes a long way now. People have to learn to appreciate that.
I'm not doing this to insult you btw. I just don't want your ideas sticking in the reader's wool headed...err heads.
