I voted to stay, and I'm still staying as far as I can see ahead.

Came close to burning out, to feeling that the continuous cycle of wonder and enjoyment might be fading...but every time I allow myself to be drawn into roleplay, I remember how to enjoy Ryzom. Watched a lot of people come and go over time, but there are still wonderful people to interact with OOC and IC. The potential of the changes Gameforge has planned, and the squalid times on the forums have been depressing. But, I never concurred with the idea of playing a game in hope that it'll develop into something different...conversely, I shouldn't let fear of what it may become detract from my enjoyment of it in its current form. Writing a review-like list of Ryzom's unique features also helped to get some perspective on what a good game it remains to be.

seriously, i need more than mastering all my skills, killing bosses and killing karas... just boring. Give the "higher" players something to do. And i dun mean add a NPC like Pei. Its not that easy to get that amount of players everytime. Something for 4-8 players. And the best thing I´d like to see is, something to solo, coz why to master so many tree´s? If you´re not able to kill some gingos on your own... makes no sense. Idea would be: If you´ve done a tree ( like lvl 51 ) you get 20 more hp´s. At lvl 101 you get 30, at lvl 151 you get 40 and so on. That would be for melee trees. For mage tree´s we could get sap insteed of hp´s or something. Not a serious idea, just came in my mind.

100% agree with this. More things like Tunnel of Woe or named mobs, but scaled for a team of high level players. Things that can be done just telling in faction or guild channel "Hey, who is up for do x?".
And, of course, things for solo more than harvest and craft. Sometimes there are few people in server, and don't want craft of dig anymore... for that time, some things could be good, things that drop some good mats (Of good level) or something, and that don't have huge downtimes.

I don't agree with this. I know that master so many threes shoud have any reward, but that idea will create a huge unbalance with really intensive players and standard players.
I had been thinking that they should make some stanza like "quick draw". This means that you could change weapons quickly (less 1 second in the max level stanza). That could give to multi-250 the advantage of using without penalty the best weapon each time (Witch is a good advantage, but not an umbalanced one, I think).

There NEEDS to be some reward for mastering more than one melee, magic, craft or harvest, im not expecting anything major, 25 extra HP/stam per master melee, 25 extra hp/sap for extra master magic and 25 extra focus for extra master crafts and digs. At the moment what the hell is the point of mastering 5 melees? Yes you can use 5 different weapons but really one is plenty (cant really talk cos i like grinding melee) there needs to be some bonus for doing it.
Master all magic you spells cost 10% less
Master all 2h melee, 1h melee ect 10% less action cost
Crafters mastering all jewels for example, making a Q250 jewel with 250 hp boost should only cost 100 focus, its something little but nice bonus for putting in the work.
Master all digs ergio style with a normal pick or free prospections

And sort out the titles for mastering mutliple things, Master Jewel should be when you have mastered all jewels for example

Wonder if anything will change lol :D

Sticking with Ryzom until the SWG Emulator is released, I suppose. Although I am looking forward to the upcoming patches, I'm interested in how GF will handle the ranged revamp most of all.
