Sasi (in all black ninja HA) rappels into the datacenter. Looking around and finding that the free pizza with sleeping drugs has taken out the techs, she consults the blueprint she hacked from the secret government database.

She moves quickly down the rows of server racks, and finds the cabinet she is seeking. A few swift manipulations of her super-secret lock-picking tools have the cabinet open in a flash.

With one more glance around, she snaps on the surgical glove with the false fingerprint stolen from the CEO of gameforge. Now ready, she performs the intricate sequence required to revive both Arispotle and Leanon.

*pokes two reset buttons*

She quickly closes and re-locks the cabinet, moves silently down the aisles, and attaches her miniature high speed winch to the black rope she entered by ((Sasi *IS* a miniature high speed wench...)), and rises through the open ceiling tile above.

Minutes later, she disappears over the fence, just ahead of three barking Raguses and a snarling Torbak.

*wolf whistles* MY HERO!

All the servers are down now.. i think (hope?) this means its time for serious action to take place? Someone poke those french liquidators and tell em to hurry up!

I haven't had much to say about this topic...call it denial. I know that for once in my miserable life I had a place to come home to, and be loved, and that I had it on Atys, with all of you. The despair I'm feeling is indescribable. I just want to come home and be with my family. I love you all.

Xyrana -- It was a pleasure meeting you and Sygma the few times that I did.

Now the darkness spreads across Atys and we in the dark watch the sun fade, and the nebula flare, casting little light and less heat. Homin huddles with homin, not caring any more about Kara or Kami, guild or race, only that there is warmth in our combined hominity. And as we gather we pray.

Turns out that we got a little bit longer than we expected out of Aniro, but sadly I'm sure you've all heard by now that Aniro has finally gone down as well. I'm even more sorry to say that we have no fresh information

We will of course be waiting for any new information, and as soon as we get any we'll pass it on to you all via these forums if they're still up, and yubovision as well.

Sadly we know as much (little) as you all do. I'm afraid all I can offer you is my faith that this is not the end of Ryzom, and it will be back eventually. Unfortunately I have no "hard" proof of this beyond conversations I've had with various people, combined with everything that I've heard from publically available information - though admittedly most of that is in French. We knew that there was a chance the servers would be going down, and it turned out that we got longer on Aniro than we expected to get, so let's be thankful for the small mercies.

All we can do now is 'keep the faith' and hope that Ryzom will find a loving new owner soon, and the forums/klients won't go down before that happens. If all of the Ryzom services do go down, we still have this forum to keep you as updated as we can.

Besides, they say no news is good news... let's hope it's true in this case 8)

Sad news for the Ryzom community, indeed!

I can't count how many times i've been thinking about comming back to this wonderful game since the very same day I decided to quit. Now it looks like it won't be possible anytime soon!

Hope we get an official update on the topic... Not to start another flame like the last time, when it was nevrax which was undergoing a liquidation process, but who knows what would have happened if the open source community succeeded on the effort then. I wish there was a similar group to lead such campaing again now..

Well, Ryzom.org will deffo survive longer then crapforge...opensource ryzom is the only option i see right now OR someone wins to lotery tomorrow and well we just put a server online and spend his money xD
