I really didn't know what to even begin trying after/if Ryzom went down. Glad this thread was started though. I have to say that W.E.L.L. looks amazing. I have to say I'd be leaning on that game as a default. Until then, Tabula Rasa looks fun to play for a while, though don't think its really a long-term game. Aion also looked pretty cool, but not a whole lot of news on that one. Chronicles of Spellborn looks cool too.

I'd have to say W.E.L.L. is my favorite so far, so thanks for that great find komissar!

awww !~Well I think everyone feels they are in the same situation here Age of Conan looks good and a bunch of us will defo go to that but doesnt come out till April 2008 sadly.. so in the mean time Living life after ryzom dies

would be great to see all of us kara and kami join together in anoher game, i don mean blah im going here blah im going there, but work together in a 500 member guild to conquer some crap game.

Would love to play alongside everone of the goodies in this game, and also the baddies cause however baddie they are, they arnt a 14 yo pimply wannabe 50cent with an ambition to ownzoors or something.

All of us deciding on a game, games are what you make of it right? with all of us there its gonna be a blast!

WoW seems the easy pick of conformity
Eve, star wars, final fantasy, lotr, -where's the originality; we already know the climax
Tabula Rasa caught my eye for a moment, but...

RF Online did for me what Ryzom did for me when I saw the box all alone there on the shelf looking good. So I bought it and, well, i'll see what happens and keep you posted. Until then...

We could use a neutral (Non faction - prefferably non guild) BB where ryzom players can keep in touch,

Then we can keep track of who is playing what easily, and (where applicable) on what server. As others have siad, the ryzom community is worth keeping, even if the game itself did not turn out to be profitable.

Personally Age of Conan and (alleged vapourware) Darkfall have my eye on them, not keen on starting fresh into an old MMO like eve or EQ2... but if lots of people starting playing some game or other I would be tempted.
