Some thoughts about honor and “good for all” attacking time. I’ll give you 3 examples.

1. There is no “good for all” OP battle time.

There is no good time at work-days, cause when European player at work/school US player sleep, when European player play US player at work/school, when European player sleep US player play.

At weekends there is no good time too, cause if US player have nothing to do at 1PM European player have something to do at 8PM. Not all of us playing 24/7. We need to go out and best for it is weekend’s evenings.

Flaming about “you attacked us at bad time” is pointless imho. If you can’t attend don’t blame others cause they can.

2. “We are heroes, you are scum”

After last OP battles in FF many Kamis wasn’t happy about “dishonorable and false” attacks from OotN. I think no one can say it was false cause OotN attended both Ops. Now Kami whine about multi declaring is dishonorable and immature :P . I don’t know who started to use this “dishonorable” tactic and don’t care but look what Kami do. Most honorable Kamist Baffos declare OotN OP at same time as MoM OP defense round. I want to grats Baffos with this decision cause it is lose-lose situation for Kamis. Who comes to help Baffos with this attack will become dishonorable in eyes of those Kamis who don’t like tactic like this and if no one will show at all it will be false attack :P Grats …. But maybe I am wrong, maybe it’s ok to use this on enemies and tactic like this becomes dishonorable only when used against you? Double standards? …

3. I think all know who is Kimmerin. For those who don’t know ill tell, he is “Kara scum who kills innocent diggers in PR”. At least Kami thinks that way. But they forgot or try “not to see” Kamis have same people in they ranks. Biskibis, Piirihuone(spelling?). Double standards again? …

Maybe its time to end all flames who is more/less honorable and start to play instead of endless whining?

Exactly.

The only time even vaguely approaching "good for all" is about 11pm UK on a saturday night. Thats 11pm for UK, midnight for Paris (approaching "too late for some"), 6pm Eastern through to 3pm Pacific for the american players (maybe a little early for some people with lives :D ) and even then, an attack phase on Saturday evening means that the Defence phase is likely to be on Monday unless the attackers declared at a clever time and the defenders were paying attention when they set it. :p

We had something like that in SWG. You set a vulnerability time of the OP (base in this case).

The opponent had to spend some time to learn it (by honourable means, killing NPCs and breaking in at several hours, or by not so honourable ones, having an opposite faction characters visit the bases).

It's pretty nice because leaves not many options to attack, fake attacks almost impossible, time to relax and time to guard as well.
What was attackable all the time were the defensive structures. They cost money, big money. And the perma-pvp-ers can have fun trying to destruct/defend them without taking the OP but making the Op more vulnerable to attacks during vulnerability hours.

Well SWG evolved badly and in the end these things were compromised by badly thought patches who gave place to exploits, but oh well, that's SOE.
We may think at it as a serious suggestion to the devs, and a finetunning in the OP implementation.

You'll laugh but Biskibis actually did that for a long time (giving a warn to the digger). But it was not appreciated :)

And as far as I know when he goes kill in PR he is doing it to force KA pvp-ers to come and play. Kimmerin is a different situation - please correct me if I'm wrong - he doesn't kill only kamis, but anything that's not KA and runs instantly. Never digs flagged or in LoU either. Am I wrong about that?

I personally don't find any fun in killing somebody in focus whatever his orientation, even if next week the supremes dug by him will kill me in battle; but I must admit LoU has been done for pvp and I have guildies who mastered PR comfortably without digging once in LoU, next to guildies - including Biski - who intentively dig in LoU to have the thrill of a possible incomming attack.

All these nuances are the direct or indirect result of the game implementation and chronology, same as the people's different representation about the game and themselves... *shrug*

I wont laugh cause i know it myself, but it does not change anything. Do you think ill listen to you if you warn me? I get my warning when i enter pvp zone, it is enough. After that prepare to die.
And as far as I know when he goes kill in PR he is doing it to force KA pvp-ers to come and play.
Oh, then he is not a ganker, he just want to pvp :) i see now. All who were ganked by Biskibis dont worry, it wasnt ganking it was an "invitation for pvp" :) Good to hear, ill send you some "invitations" too.
Kimmerin is a different situation - please correct me if I'm wrong - he doesn't kill only kamis, but anything that's not KA
All who fight for kami is kami. "Free karavan" = kami. Ask Beren how he is liked on karavan faction chat :) I would like to see Biskibis kills Beren just because Beren "cant" grind kami fame :P I think its enough to explain why Kimmerin kills ALL who not in KA.
and runs instantly
What do you want him to do? Sit and wait till someone comes? If you want to get him, find him.
Never digs flagged or in LoU either. Am I wrong about that?
Maybe he is more clever not to dig in pvp area when it is many non pvp?
but I must admit LoU has been done for pvp and I have guildies who mastered PR comfortably without digging once in LoU, next to guildies - including Biski - who intentively dig in LoU to have the thrill of a possible incomming attack.
At least on something we can agree :)

:( MJ kara now

who am I gonna chase about

with regards to ganking in PR, its all been said before

ask faa said being warned doesnt make it better, in fact it makes it worse. Umbra is a pvp zone and you should expect a little crap down there. I've had it down there and thought it was funny tbh, you lose nothing
