Okay, so here it is. A mojority of the KA are people with likes and feelings too? Okay and some of them are good helpful generous players?
Awesome. Then give me a few stacks of 250 cats and I can promise you that me nor any of my friends in GoL will attack an OP on the holidays........
My in game name is Mordieth. I will meet you wherever to accept my cats.......However if this does not occur, then I have absolutely no reason to respect these "peoples" lives.....show me you are a "person" and not just animal in mens pants, and you will get treated like one.

Y'know, when I read threads like
Can we be nice, again, I thought they were getting upset over a little hiccup in SoR community relations and pretty much ignored them.
Then they degenerated into rants for either side, so the threads just turned into mud slinging contests.
Now we have this lovely thread and you all look like a pack of friggin children,
"if we cant play by my rules, I'm taking the ball home!"
Even the friggin World Wars stopped on Christmas Day!
One of the mainstays of Ryzom that always brought me back here was the community and now its being torn apart at what is the most difficult and challenging point of its existance, by its own players squabbling like a pack bloody idiots.
Way to go and merry bloody christmas

Thats like giving a bully candy so he'll bugger off...

Bah, Christmas is for indulging! Lent is for giving things up

Your analogy is flawed. The bully is usually the one who wins the fight.
And tbh, after all that has been said about attacks at unsociable times, everyone does it, so no one really has the right to complain. If people wanna make a nice gesture by not taking part in attacks at Christmas, fair play to em. But don't slam the others, because frankly it's no worse than 1am on a weeknight.

Win or lose what difference does it make...
Most people celebrate Xmas, most people don't all sleep at the same time.

But most people _do_ sleep, and work.
