Do not let the original mistake, for it was one, hide the forest. Just look at the new plan on ryzom.org it's not a dream but real serious facts.

It's a pipedream, presented as thoughh it were real, serious facts.
That's it's been latched onto by fanatical linux nerds doesn't mean it's a viable idea of a way to run an MMO.

You mean that Olivier Lejade and Valantain Lacambre does not know hao to run a MMO? That they do not know what they are doing?
Lejade was the CEO of Nevrax the first 2 years...

And look where we are today.
Harsh but, I think, fair. Plus this is an entirely different 'business' model.
I'll take it as an alternative to nothing, bearing in mind I'll eat a bucket of live scorpions before 'nothing', and would prefer to over this.

the current model don't seems to work so much. And I don't thinks lejade has nothing to do with it. The current situation is due to how nevrax had run ryzom for 2 years. Lejade left because he did not agree on this politic.
Yes it is a different business model, but i don't see in what he is worse than the current one.

Well, it isn't actually a _business_ model for one.

It is an RPG, not a tech-'em-up.
