When did GoJ become A) An uber guild or B) an alt KA conglomerate as a ruse. Fact is GoJ are a group of BMers who decided that they wished to chart their own course on Atys. I believe 6 set out on their own about 6 months ago. In terms of many of the guilds here they are a "new" guild. It was there choice to accept or decline the invite. Since they informed RoTS they did not wish to hold it to GvG posting on forums to name and shame them seems like a tactic to push an agenda against them and their allies.-Kilgoretrout GL Ballistic Mystix

arfindel. True to the first thing you bring up. The only thing that attackers lose is alot more dapeprs for each time they do an attack. However, on your 2nd point, I don't know about their numbers. So can't say.

Yeah, your guild PvPs. Regularly from the OP battle turnouts I've been to. Dont know about Tags, dont care, thats for Kami/Kara only and has no impact on the game.

Outposts battles there are always a few Melinoe present, so yeah, good try though :)

And you support my point, very few people _only_ do forage/craft. So you would expect them to have _some_ combat skills. Especially when hoards of q200 crystals makes things twice as easy for them...

Edit: erm, quick question, how the heck can you _attack_ Yrkanis? challenge the guarsd to duals? no, there were some bored players with tags, who attacked some other tagged players, and suddenly its an invasion. Nice try.
Um, I didn't deny we don't show up for outpost battles. But when you say PvP, I look at ALL the pvp that is possible to do (OP battles, tagging up, going to PvP zones and killing people left and right). So when I take that into accounts, I don't think of PvP fanatics. Matter of perspective again, eh?

And no I don't support your point because I pointed out that either they prefer to focus on dig/craft or they're just not grinders when it comes to combat skills.

Also @ your edit: First off, don't put words in my mouth. I did not say anything about an invasion. When I said attacked Yrkanis that's exactly what I meant. They attacked the inhabitants of Yrkanis who were tagged. Nothing more, nothing less.

EDIT: Though, unless it wasn't clear to you that attacking a city doesn't mean the actual city but the inhabitants....

don't blame guilds or factions, blame the OP system that has its flaws:

the attacker guild can only win, they can't loose anything but some dappers which are a laugh for diggers

the defender guild can only loose, their OP, but they can't win anything if they win the battle

so why should a guild accept a challenge if they only can loose and the other guild doesn't risk anything?

Thats right. Your guild takes part in 1 out of 3 major PvP forms, specifically the most profitable one. At almost every battle. OK, maybe that makes em OP PvP fanatics, rather than general PvP fanatics. Clear enough for your personal lperspective now?

Fair enough, but as _I_ said, they cant really avoid _some_ combat ability, if you want to dig the best spots you need to go thru some nasty places. Smells like making excuses to me, very few people have _no_ combat skills.

OK, ok, attacking a city is not an invasion. And its not attacking the city its attacking the inhabitants... (make your mind up already!). Umm, doesnt that make _them_ the attackers though, since there are Kami tagged who live in Yrk who are therefor inhabitants?

Lol... you need to think thru your arguments more clearly please.

Well i think its a good idea to have some GvG OP battles. It is obvious that GoJ wouldnt accept this, but would RotS accept if OoTN offered a GvG against them?

the fact is the defenders have no reason to accept a gvg, as chances are it only increases the liklihood of them losing.

Same terms, if they lose, the winners give them their old OP? sure, they would probably go for that... *grins*
