It's an Atysian dance. You're being pitifully narrow-minded.
But the defining quality of a true entertainer is imagination. Without it you're just someone pusing buttons behind a computer screen...
Right. Can you not handle having to use imagination and personal skill to make original dances out of timed, adjusted, and sequenced spells?

As always, the biggest problems with Ryzom are actually problems in player psychology.

But it is in danger of failing due to the lack of depth that dancing can help bring.

Sure, lots of players are hypnotised by combat mechanics and combat additions, and SWG has shown what the obsession with those things can do to a game. They have never stopped messing with combat long enough to see that combat content isn't the problem. I see the same problem here: too many people getting caught up in fixing what isn't broken and ignoring what is.

SWG has shown how quickly SoE can ruin a game, that's all.

Ryzom isn't going to fail because you don't have /dance2

Oh, thank you. Now we´re down to petty insulting. Realy great.
Just to repeat a statement, I would like to have it implemented too, y´know.

Ah and btw. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll

Technically no.
Trolling was closer what you did in posting to multiple forums to solicit support and churn up nonexistant controversy.

What he did could technically be called flaming, but not trolling.

*sigh* is this still going?
this is Ryzom not SWG.. diferent games..
Yes it would lovely to have entertainers and such.. it would also be loveley to have lots of other things.. the devs only have time to do so much..
I love this game and any new little thing that adds to it is a godsend to me..
They are giving us Ring, a new Kitin Lair and erm (not sure about this one) spires.. massive changes to gameplay in all of those things..
Maybe one day we will get dancing who knows..
All i know is that the devs have been constantly adding content to this game from day one and I applaud them.

I've not seen the video, but I think you’re describing /pompous.

There is this game out there that has everything you've described. it even has areas where large amounts of people hang out and just dance. You should check it out:
Clicky!

You've made it pretty obvious that all you really want is a bunch of flourishes so that you can sit and macro them together. Well, we don't have that. There have been some who have asked for it for a while, but there are many other things that need attention before they throw in a few extra emotes. We have tried to show you the ways in which you could accomplish the goals you described, but instead you chose to point out that they aren't /band flo 3

This game does not have set classes. You level what you like and you can RP what you like. That means that the game doesn't have an entertainer 'class' that just gives you the skills, etc. You have to work at making it look like you're dancing. If you're not willing to do that, I suggest you look for a different game instead of constantly posting about how this game doesn't have all the same features as SWG.

now this made me laugh. Guess the two years we've survived without it means nothing....
