I got to agree with ya one this one bro (though the first part of your post is pure rubbish :P ), it needs tweaking... all the rest is simpler than you guys trying to dissect it are making it out to be. They are trying to be consistant and represent something, the grammar and content will find it's place.
totnkopf wrote:All the more reason to allow GvG only OP battles. I still wonder if someone were to ask for it to be a guild vs guild event if it would actually happen. We considered it back in Jan with a couple different guilds and came to the conclusion that other people would get involved (either by joining the guild temporarily to make it 'legal' or would come to defend their friends even though they're not guilded).
There'd be no other way around it then exactly what you said man... We have overflowing GH's now with smaller numbers, we'd have no other choice with game mechanics then to do exactly what you suggest if they truly get silly and force a GvG encounter. But it would be a great way to keep those claiming to be neutral out of the battles, they'd have to have the same citizenship/faction (IIRC) to join the guilds :P

I think we are all doing the best we can with the implementation forced on us... We have suffered thru GH's holding what a squad can fill, even after OP implementation when they were full PRIOR ! There should be a seperate tab in the GH for what an OP produces, we cannot store anything else there but all the stuff goes in, even if there is a cap of sorts similar to GHX2. Another bonus to owning an OP ??? This would at least allow you to manage things better... Too simple ? Make this "extra" OP GH only accessible FROM THE OP, finally we have a reason other than defense to visit our OP's. Jena knows we didn't get spawnpoints, guards or anything else to keep the enemy out prior to conflict...

We are all doing the best with what they gave us, changing a certain aspect of the game to favor/balance things one way opens up another can of worms elsewhere. I could create a guild called "Children of Zerlin" which becomes the guild that my allies all join for OP stuff... We leave another alt. in charge of our current guilds and all join into CoZ and fight for Jena (and Zerlin)... This invites them to restrict our gameplay even more... we need it expanded and not restricted...

Nope you can join any guild if you are nuetral :p (think about the noobs) so it would fix nothing.

IIRC thats for the "undecided", others actually choose neutral... I have never been neutral TBH so I am not sure. They did say guildies would have to share citizenship/allegiance, maybe I misread it...

Neutral civ/neutral faction can join any guild. Neutral civ/Karavan faction can only join any civ/Karavan faction guild. Fyros civ/neutral faction could only join any Fyros civ/any faction guilds. But neutral civ/ neutral faction guilds can only accept civ neutral/ faction neutral players.

Undecided I'm not even sure they could join up with a guild unless they would already be part of it. Ofcourse they'd have to pick something factionwise, be it neutral, Kamist or Karavaneer to be able to move around with pacts, and then they can only change to the faction stance of the guild or neutrallity or only to neutrality if the guild is faction neutral ... *sighs* ... trying to explain is actually harder than it is. Maybe I'm just no good at it. Where's Spriteh when you need him?
