The auction end-time is in BST. The post times are in GMT. Neun already reassured me on MSN with that fact :p

Then he should have told EVERYONE, I would have posted a bid if I'd known. And the times are NOT in GMT, you can set to have them adjusted for daylight saving in your options. :p

Besides BST finished on Sunday, so how can you have times in BST?! :p

Anyways, it's Neun's auction, he can allow your late bid to win if he likes. Can't say I'd be happy if I was Pappasmurf though.

He did. The first post clearly says BST (which is GMT+1) and was updated to show I was the winner.

Times *are* in GMT now, because daylight savings are over, and so they automatically remove the additional hour if you have that set up. If you don't have it set up, then it will still be on "no daylight savings" anyway, which would show GMT for the uk.

First part of B is BRITISH.

Time in BRITAIN when you posted your bid was 10:55AM.

More care when stating closing dates would be advisable. ;)

BST means British Standard Time. That is the timezone used the UK in the winter, otherwise known as GMT+1. Britain is no longer using BST, its using GMT. Neun has already said I have won with my bid - why are you arguing?

Totally absolutely and utterly wrong. BST stands for British SUMMER Time and is used in the SUMMER. Don't try to tell me how my own timezone works mate. :)

Exactly my point. It was when you made your bid as well, at 10:55. :p

I'm not arguing about whether you have won. I already said it's up to Neun didn't I? I'm just saying your bid was late according to my clock which is set to the current time in Britain. Just making a point. Made it, discussion done. Back to work now. :(

Its easily solved...

The current alt can just quit the guild and the guild hall and all its contents can go to the same place as my opinion of this community and the the game.

Then swiftly followed by a few deletes on the chars and I will never then be tempted to return.
