Yes, you are right, Rushin, we were in a fraction area.
There were Kami/ Karavan flags instead of guild symbols above the players, soz.
I wondered what they were at the time.
I didn't know there were fraction area's, I only ever heard of PVP area's.
But it was rather frustating not to be able to rez a guild member, seeing it was a friendly pvp.
Thanx for your reply, now I know what happend ingame :)

Has there been any response about this obviously unpopular stealth-patch from the Neverax officials that I have missed?

This sort of action on the part of Neverax only breeds distrust and frustration among the player base.

To Xavier, Lawerence, since you are more likely to read this than others: Return to us our right to heal who we please, stop trying to control our characters according to your whims. If I wanted that sort of thing, I'd put on a tie and head for an office, not pay a monthly fee for a game.

lol what stealth patch? there are faction zones where u can only heal your faction, not a lot of stealth involved as they were announced?

Read the beginning of the thread, not what it has wandered into. And even where it has wandered, if I wish my character to heal someone of a different faction, whether they are in my guild or not, it is my choice. Reasoning behind this belief, should explanation be necessary, is also earlier in the thread.

the decision about heal date back to last november, at that time they were testing root-based GvG and healbomb still worked properly. players complained that they would often acidentally heal enemies and thus nevrax made it from that point forward so that enemies couldn't be healed, period. this is not a stealth patch, this is a semilogical continuation of a decision based on player requests.

Highlighting the need to be careful of what we ask for, as the overal effects of one small, and sensible, request might lead to an overal distruction of gameplay.

In the GvG area, I get very frustrated that I can attack team members and allies. I am unable to heal dead without first teaming with them (which most of the time involves quiting the existing team) and waiting the set amount of time for the GvG rules to kick in. Plus a whole load of other frustrations which I have forgotten as I find the whole GvG and FvF area are more frustrating than fun.

Considering the amount of time they are used for there intended (by Nevrax) purpose, compared to the amount of time they are 'just another area of land'.

New features badly (IMO) implemented reduces the amount of playable area, for players like me that enjoy an organised GvG war but get no fun out the seeming random concept of Guild vs solo unarmed harvester, the more Atys is reduced in size of playable area the less inclineded I am to play.

A drastic and damaging change to gameplay not announced = stealth patch.

Any change to gameplay not announced = stealth patch.

Now that we have seen the effects of this change, and how harmful they can be, such as not being able to rez members of your own guild, how long must we wait until this is reversed?

i dont see any reason why it should be reversed, i'm sorry.
It makes perfect sense in the context of the lore and the actual game mechanics. fyi guild members can res/heal each other in GvG zones regardless. If they are a different faction then they cant in a FvF zone. The very definition of these two zones gives a big clue about how things will work.
Because your character isn't a fighter (as you have stated in previous posts) that doesnt mean you have to object to all the changes which are going through at the moment. The faction zones are fundementally tied to the story, which for a lot of us is an interesting one and something we would like to see continued. they are not put in to make your digging easier, but rather to facilitate the progression of the story and of Ryzom in general. I can appreciate that to you the inconvience of not being able to be ressed in such an area is important, but there is a bigger picture
