I believe threads like these are valuable, because they help cement the reputation of people and guilds as being either for or against griefing. I think that is a much more relevant separation of the user community here, than Kami / Karavan. The guilds and the individuals who live by it, should presumably be happy to be known by reputation as such. It will be up the non-griefing camp to decide what, if any, consequences those with that reputation will have to face.

One possible consequence, in the future, will be to organize massive assaults on outposts held by guilds with the worst griefing reputations. As with modern warfighting on Earth, preferably those assaults will follow the doctrine of overwhelming firepower superiority - which should be feasible, if a significant majority of our player base here are opposed to PK-for-funsies.

If those that kill for no reason are denied whatever advantages that outposts may give, perhaps they will be forced to change their ways. Or perhaps they will implode, like so many other previously-powerful griefing guilds have done on Atys.

yep, i have pointed out when I feel that posts are not making sense, and have encouraged the poster to make things clearer and more useful. But I try not to belittle the person, their behavior yes, but not personal attacks. If you read over this, you will see a trend of people who are belittling other people. Yes, many people make mistakes and say rude things... but some of these people almost always say rude things. It tells a lot about that person.

Basic, I do not speak for ON. I speak for Thom. These are Thom's views. I don't know how ON as a guild feels toward OmegaV, but I've not heard of much complaint in the past.

If you have a beef with me, take it out with me, dont bring others in who are not involved.

Read my posts again, I never have spoken for ON, except for in the guild forum.

So, if you would like I will be at war with OV, but I ask you, dont take it out on others who are not involved. But do as you think best.

EH heh, what have you gotten us into Thom?

OV is cool, it'll be fun to fight 'em. Don't fret it :D

As they say: You must fight, for your right, to parteeee!

That's really what they say.

If you wish to kill me, then it will stay at that. I will not drag the guild in.

You will have lost much of my respect, which you may or may not value. But if your problem is with me, then leave it with me.
