we're *really* neutral... honestly, we don't care about alignment. Its whatever anyone wants to do. Mostly Fyros members ATM, so slightly more kami, but its a matter of 10 points or so

HI everyone,

I started a site to track guilds and their players into a database.

It will be a useful tool for players looking for guild info, trying to join, seing which players have which skill and what guild they belong to.

it will also help guilds trying to recruit, as it will have a 'free players' section that will list players not yet in a guild

I invite you all to check it out!

I request all guild leaders to register their guild, and start to fill in the players info when they have the time.

I want to be sure you get some positive critism before the flamers jump you but:
- How to get to the guild info? Shouldn't the guild have a link to their page? Or to some local info?
- Ehm, you mean people register their guild or people register their skills? Or will guilds register their members skills?
- Layout. Ehm... Dont use swap on badly rendered gifs. Even better: dont use swapover at all.

Probably you made a few basic design errors that new-born designers often make. Dont feel put back y that, but take critisism as a form of learing.

And remember that using a database requeres a few small ideas worked out like entities and entity relations. If you need help, start a thread on the technical forums

Also wouldn't it be easier if the guild leader registered the guild, then the players added thier own characters and jsut chose which of the registered guilds they're in? Then individual players could update their skills as they change.

If guild leaders will need to update al the skils of their guild members, well it jsut won't happen. I have a small guild and I have a hard time keeping up with my member's skill changes. I certainly won't have time to update a database constantly.

Just a suggestion.
