It only takes one task to learn how fame will affect you and your factions. That one task will not change your fame significantly. In fact it won't even budge a point. So you would have to be an idiot to get high fame in a faction and not be aware of it.
If you have more than 3 personal fame with any group, you knew what you were doing.

Umm actually yes it will budge. I have done some missions that gave me as much as 1 point per mission. And noone is talking high fame here, at least not in my post or the one that I replied to. So no idiot talking here please. Would take one of those to get off topic.

actually i have done both, you have not bothered to comprehend the english language. you have agreed with me in saying "i have a karavan champion title" hence i know that your character has chosen a side in the conflict, the karavan side

you do missions you picked a side. if you were true neutral like you said you were, then you'd have 0 personal fame and would never take part in any event. however you do so live with your choice

Thex, it's obvoius not all people share the same views and perceptions which I have pointed out. Just because you say it's this way does NOT make you right. I respect the fact that others like to RP, some like to PVP, some like to solo, some like to group. It's all about how we like to play. What I don't respect and think is a real problem are people with these strong self needs to control and ruin everyone else fun because they do not have the same respect others show them.

yeah most ppl share MY perspective, so yeah i'm thinking i'm right here. thing is we would not have a problem if you just owned up to your own responsibility. your lack of choice is a choice into and unto itself.

thing is you DO role play, you take part in events. you just don't want to have any negative effects of said action.

as for people getting uppity, you're the one trying to prove a point that we've disproven numerous times and you've even disproven your own points.

so just admit you are karavan aligned and get on with your life, we're not forcing you to make a choice you haven't already made yourself, we're just asking you to admit it and live with the choice

Every once in a while I pop into the general forums and see what kind of craziness stirs about. About twice a month I actually check the general forums...'nuff said. :0)

I'll post my stance (personal and guild: VeniVidiVici) on the situation, completely out of character...maybe some of these are similar with the views of others:

- We stand for Unity and helping people in the game. Helping someone understand parts of the game or helping them out leaves a lasting impression and effect that ripples allowing them to spread knowledge of the game or sway them to help others in a similar fashion.

- My stance on this silly warring of factions is NEUTRAL. PvP is not my fancy, hence the reason I am more for helping people out. However should there be a PvP event with faction vs faction, of course I will be present and possibly participate given the nature of the event.

- We are a KARAVAN ALIGNED GUILD. We reprimand members for running Kami missions and make sure that all potential members know we are Karavan aligned. However since we believe in helping people, we do not shun the Kami or Karavan followers, rather we shun individuals or guilds based on their actions.

- We are Karavan aligned NOT because of beliefs or roleplay, but because of convenience. Period. Should our guild have been born out of Zorai, we would be Kami because of convenience. (Convenience meaning we can't really play the game without choosing a side without being completely isolated from the rest of Atys.)

- Obviously we are not hardcore roleplayers, but we are about 50/50.

- I do not differentaite RP actions vs non-RP actions in the game. If you or your guild does something unfavorable with us, don't expect that you will jump on our good side with an "oh we were just having RP fun, but now we're not RPing anymore" claim. Actions within the game are actions in the game, period. Outside of the game is outside of the game...maybe I will be friendly there. :0)

- I don't expect myself or my guildmates to be held free from harm in PvP areas. We know they are PvP, we know that there are people utilizing those zones to roleplay their conflicts. Sure we ask that you don't slaughter us in those zones, but we don't expect it. Just don't expect us to be favorable to you from repeated negative actions. :0)

- Because of our beliefs in helping out as many people as we can, and not being a PvP guild, regardless of your faction orientation you can feel assured we will try and help you out in ANY zone and won't attack you. Of course there's exceptions such as vengeance against someone who's attacked an individual member first.

Sorry for the long post, but that is my stance...hence the reason I am neutral in this silly conflict, yet Karavan aligned.

My one problem with your stance is your guild name. ^_~

yeah I came, I saw, I conquered sounds more like a pvp name.

I named my cowardly chihuahua "Slash" and my attack trained german shepherd "Muffin".... (sorry for off topic)

Meanwhile, that is my stance on the "Karavan OR Kami OR Neutral". :0)

Dude whatever, Asking? ROFLMAO What this all boils down to is you can't stand that I and others don't agree with you. Period. No matter how much you rant and rave I nor others will bow down to you just because you say you are right. We choose to play this game how we want with our own perspectives just as you choose yours, but then time and time again you seem to miss that point, so again I say whatever, go suck an egg for all I care.
