Thanakar has now been officially confirmed as Leader of OOC.

His slate of officers stand currently as:
High Officers: Akjohn, Sekhmet, Shroomie, Sorcerer, Veertigo, Verzii
Officers: Amcyr, Kali, Loracas, Trinity, Zenntoad

No. Yoram was the leader of OOC when I started in Open Beta 1 (May 2004) and then later in Open Beta 2. Before Ryzom went to retail in September 2004, Yoram stepped down and Trinity was voted in as the new guild leader. Because of game distribution issues, Trinity's assumption of office was delayed slightly at retail with Zenntoad and Sekhmet assuming temporary command for a couple of weeks. In November 2004, Trinity had to step aside for personal reasons, and Thanakar assumed temporary leadership. In January, Trinity announced that she would not be returning as leader. Nominations were held for the position of guild leader (thanks Sorcerer for being Returning Officer), but no-one contested Thanakar's position, and he has now been acclaimed as official guild leader.

Ah, thanks for the summary! I always assumed Thanakar was leader but now I know the whole story. I am sure Thanakar will continue to do a great job with OOC.

Well, Thanakar did do a great job with OOC, but felt he wanted to achieve new goals, so started a new guild. In the meantime, OOC continues merrily along with a new leader, Verzii, and his officers: Sekhmet, Lathaniel, Akjohn and Navra. Yours truly will carry on as unofficial herald, secretary and moderator of the guild forums.

OOC is all about having fun and the freedom to pursue your own goals. We have no requirements other than keeping your language clean (we're a family-oriented guild), and being nice. Have a good day.
